Alan stared across the Kentucky border and into Tennessee. It had been a month since he had conquered Kentucky and those that had lived in fear under the Raider's control had gladly join the Crimson Legion. They flocked to them in the hundreds and were being trained into the ground to be combat ready in a short time frame. They were to be made into the 21st Infantry Core or otherwise known as the Kentucky Raiders.

Alan shook his head and looked down beside him. There sat Sora, wagging his tail happily and with his tongue out. He smiled and scratched Sora's head, getting a happy bark in return. He then looked around the small camp that they had set up just a mile from the border and watched as his troops geared up for the assault ahead. It was time to add Tennessee to their flag until they finally reclaim all lost states and become one again.

When everyone was ready, Alan gave the order to mount up and climbed on top of the lead tank. He kept Salvation out and scanned the area for enemies as they headed out. He didn't turn his head as he heard the soft thumps of paws hitting the metal surface, but he did turn his head at the hard thumps that followed. There standing on the back of the tank was Emily with Sora at her feet. He nodded his head to her from his position on the tank's turret and went back to scanning to the area. There was no time for love in the middle of a war.

The trip into Tennessee was quiet and it put everyone on their toes. As they reached the first town they saw the townsfolk all lined up along the main road and as soon as they saw them, they erupted into cheers. The people saw them as heroes and treated them like one. Everyone was stunned, where were the Raiders that called this area home? This made them even more tense and ready for anything. Soon, however, they past the town and kept on their way.

After another hour of moving, they made it to the main city in this area and was welcomed to the same treatment as the first town. The mayor was standing in the town square and greeted them. Alan jumped off along with his team and Sora before ordering his troops to secure the city outskirts. He turned back to the mayor as his troops did as ordered and began to talk. Everyone had begun to let their guard down, everyone but Sora. Sora just knew something was going to happen and scanned the rooftops. Seeing nothing and no one watching him, Sora's brown eyes turned blue, allowing him to see the cloaked sniper that was taking aim at Alan. Sora growled in anger and his eyes turned red before twin lasers fired from his eyes and burned two holes through the assassin's chest.

Alan snapped his head to the side in time to see the assassin's body fall from the rooftop and into the crowd below. He then looked at Sora and noticed Sora's still red eyes before they changed back to brown. He quickly ordered Chris to check the body before turning to the mayor. He noticed the surprised in his eyes and knew he didn't send the assassin. His thoughts were proven right when Chris dragged the body over and pointed at the Enclave patched on the shoulder. So it would seem an old enemy was still up and kicking.

After speaking with the mayor, Alan and his team went to the tank commander. The tank commander turned to him and said, "Sir, reports are coming in from all over Tennessee. There are no Raiders active in the area. We have them running scared!" His words brought cheers from the surrounding troops and made Alan smile. Sora smiled and cleared his throat, grabbing Alan's attention. Sora sat tall and said, "I'm sorry that I deceived you into thinking I was a dog. I've been on the run from the Enclave for years and they finally tracked me to that factory. You've showed me kindness and for that I will serve the Crimson Legion until my dying day." Alan smiled and replied, "Welcome aboard Sora or do you have another name?" Sora shook his head and replied, "Only a model name and number that has been lost to time." Alan nodded and scratched Sora's head, earning a happy bark. A dog is a dog, even if it's a robotic dog.
