I saw you smile a thousand times
Not a single one of them was mine
I wanted to claim ownership
Saw you bend your sweet full lips...
I jumped off the cliff of possibility
But where you were supposed to catch me
There was nothing,
So I impaled myself on poison
Too eager to please...
Saw you with that other girl
Watched my own tears unfurl
From the corner of my eyes I
Shattered.
Because I'm lovesick
I thought you ought to know
My cracking heart is yearning
Is it possible to die from love?
I'm in too deep,
I want to scream
And I rip my heart's seams
Thread after thread after thread after thread
I know what I'm doing, my face full of dread
But it's too hard
Too hard to love again.
