I walk the halls and no one sees
Half of what I could be
If someone just noticed.
Because after a while
When no one waves back,
When you smile and they walk past,
When they forget your name
When you're invisible
You
get
tired
of
it
all.
Staring out the window,
Raindrops falling,
Living inside a phone
I don't bother looking
The people pass right through me
No one stops to say hello
And sometimes I wonder if there's someone out there
Somewhere out there
Someday when they see me,
the
invisible
girl.
