Chapter 24

Recap: Sharan's mission for forgiveness - IshRan moments

Ishana's POV

I prepared coffee and went to my room where I saw Sharan looking for something in the cupboard with only a towel around his waist.

"What are you doing? Are you not ashamed?" I screamed.

"What is there to be ashamed of?" he asked.

"This is not just your room anymore, Mr. Not-Bachelor. You are sharing this room with me and knowing that you have to behave in a decent way" I lectured.

"This is decent. See? I am wearing a towel so not completely naked" he spoke again.

"Don't you have anything else to wear?" I asked him.

"I am looking for that too. Where is my green shirt?" he asked continuing his search in the cupboard.

I walked towards the cupboard and pulled the shirt out in two seconds. He looks at me surprised.

"How many eyes do you have Isha? I was searching for this shirt for the last fifteen minutes.. wow.." he asked making me laugh.

"We will discuss that later but first wear something. I am unable to see this horrible sight and then drink this coffee" I placed it on the bed side table.

He shook his head and started to wear the shirt in front of me.

"What are you doing? Can't you see that I am right in front of you? Please behave decently" I said and he replied, "If you don't want to see anything then close your eyes"

I closed my eyes and turned towards the other side.

"You can open your eyes now" he spoke after a while and I did so turning around. He began to drink his coffee.

"Isha my watch is missing, can you please find it?" he spoke after a while.

"You said that you can do everything by yourself, then why are you asking for my help? Don't you remember that my job belongs only outside this room" I spoke and his face changed.

"I want to forget it then why do you keep reminding me of it" he said.

"But I haven't forgiven you" I warned him.

He then fell on his knees and holds both his ears, "Isha I am sorry for all the mistakes that I have done. Please forgive me" he said and for a second I thought that he is cute.

"Some wounds cannot be healed so easily Sharan. They will remain with us just like the memories which you keep in your heart secretly" I said shocking him.

He stayed silent and fed up with the silence I moved to where I knew the watch was. I took the watch and helped him wear it. I could feel his gaze on me but I didn't look up.

"Isha?" he called.

"What?"

"Is it that a big mistake?" he added, "What I had done, is it that a very big mistake?"
