Recap: Priya's irresponsible behavior - Sharan feeding Isha

Ishana's POV

After a busy morning I was finally free for a while. Sharan and Priya left for their office, Veena and Varna left for their college and Appa is busy with his usual reading. I don't know why but I am feeling as if I am forgetting something important. I tried to find it and finally remembered it. Today is Seetha akka's son's surgery and I have to be there for emotional support.

I rushed to our room and got ready. I tried to reach Sharan but his phone is out of coverage area. I informed appa and left to the hospital taking a taxi.

I went to the transplant ward and inquired about Seetha akka's son. I was informed that the surgery has already started and the patient's parents are with the person who is donating blood for the surgery.

I thanked her and walked to the place that she instructed me to. Before entering the room I heard Seetha akka's voice. The person whom she is talking to replied to her and hearing that voice I walked into the room unable to control my excitement only to stand rooted to my spot in shock.

Sharan is lying on the bed and he is the one who is donating blood. He smiled seeing me at the door. I couldn't smile back as I was still frozen in shock. I started to move towards him but Seetha akka hugged me as soon as she saw me.

"Dear, you and your family is a boon for us. You and your father have always helped us. You gave us the money for my son's surgery and now your husband came early and made all the arrangements for the surgery. He is also donating blood for my son. How will I thank you?" Seetha akka started crying and I consoled her.

"Akka, he is my brother as well and it is my duty to save him. Don't thank me if you consider me as your daughter" I said.

Seetha akka's husband walked towards me.

"Dear you are really lucky. You have a husband who thinks like you. You both are made for each other. God bless you" he said making me proud.

Sharan smiled looking at me and I smiled back this time. Seetha akka left the room with her husband. While they are taking blood from Sharan's left hand, I sat beside his right hand and kissed his palm. He looked at me in surprise.

"What did they say?" he asked.

"What?" I asked.

"They said that you are lucky but what they don't know is that I am lucky to have you in my life" he said and I blushed.

"Sharan, why did you do this?"

"Hey, I am doing a good thing right? If you were in my place, I know that you would have done the same thing" he said.

"Not that, why didn't you inform anything to me? Actually I forgot the date of surgery. Instead of reminding me, you came here before me. It's not fair Sharan" I complained.

"Leave it Ishu, I just wanted to surprise you. That's all. Actually not only this there is another surprise. Check outside, the whole village is waiting to meet you. Actually seeing their love for someone who is not their relative, I am awed" he said.

"God made all human beings into a big family; it is us who made relationships and separate families" I said.

"Ishu, if I tell you something then will you please understand me?" Sharan spoke.
