Just then a phone rings and I move towards it to pick it up.
Why are you still trying to act like you are angry at me Isha? I know you sweet heart and you cannot be angry at me. Sharan, you are not as cute as your wife. You don't even deserve her and yet she is bearing you. You need to thank her. I know that I don't deserve her and that's why I am repenting. I know that one day she will definitely forgive me.
I am pulled out of my thoughts by the ringing of my mobile. It is from the land phone at home.
"Hello?" I speak into the phone as soon as I take the call.
"Sharan, please come home asap. I want to talk to you now" Hearing Isha's voice on the other side of the phone, I am happy.
"Is there a problem?" I asked a little confused. Why suddenly?
"Nothing. I will talk to you once you get here" she said and cut the call.
I am really happy. So you are finally going to tell me that I am forgiven? Oh god! That will be such a precious moment. For the past ten years everybody obeyed me because of my power or anger. Now my wife is going to forgive me impressed by my actions. I am proud of myself. I decided to never hurt her again. After talking to her, I will talk to my dad too. He will forgive me too. I will make him forgive me.

I drove home in about twenty minutes and immediately walked towards our room. Isha is sitting on the bed but I can feel that something is wrong. She is resting her head on her knees. I moved closer to her.
"Isha, what happened?" I asked her touching her head. She raised her head and stood up from the bed.
"Are you unwell? Do you want to go to the hospital?" I asked again but she didn't respond making me impatient.
"Why are you not talking to me? Are you still angry with me? Please respond, why did you ask me to come home?" I spoke to her holding her shoulders and giving her a shake.
She finally looked at me.
"Why did you kill my parents Sharan?" she asked me with red shot eyes. I withdrew my hands from her in shock.
