Chapter 21

Recap: Varna faints and Ishana decides to stay back-IshRan conversation-Sharan's father confronts Sharan

At Night
Sharan's POV

I had dinner with my entire family. Both Veena and Varna are happy now. Isha was very nice to me in front of them, so yeah me too but one thing is dad didn't talk with me. His silence is killing me second by second.

I know that I deserve it so I shall wait for a proper situation to talk to him. If I talk now, I might just do more damage and he might hate me more. I promised to never hurt Isha but I broke it in front of him, he is never going to trust me again.

I completed my dinner and then sat down to do some office work in the living room. When I walked back into the room, I saw Isha sleeping on the floor. Still.

It hurts me seeing her like that but I also didn't want to disturb her. I knew that she hadn't slept a wink yesterday and she needed the rest so I did the only thing I could do. I took another bed sheet and spread it on the floor, on the other side of the bed and promptly went to sleep.

Well somebody has to punish me for my mistakes.

In the Morning
Ishana's POV

I slept a bit more into the day than I usually do but in my defense I hadn't slept in two days. I stood up from the floor and looked at the bed only to see that Sharan wasn't there, I frowned in confusion, the bed didn't look slept on.

I moved towards the washroom only to stop in my tracks after two steps. Sharan was sleeping on the floor. The sight melted my heart. What is he doing here? Why didn't he sleep on the bed? He gets back ache when he sleeps like this.

The whole family suffered because of him, he too should suffer a little. With this thought, I walked into the washroom. When I returned back to the room, he wasn't there anymore. I glanced towards the balcony and found him there.

I went to the kitchen and prepared coffee for everybody. I then gave the said coffee to them, my rude husband included. We didn't want angels to know that there was any problem between us. Sharan had breakfast and left to his office as usual.

At the Office
Sharan's POV

Isha always tries to understand me even when I don't do the same. Without me telling a single thing she understood my problem with that women my sisters called mother.

What have I done to her? All I do is hurt her. When she asked for the money, I ended the conversation assuming that she was here only for my money. I assumed things without even making an effort to ask her about it.

Sharan you made a very big mistake.

Will she ever forgive me?

Just then my assistant entered my cabin.

"Sir, someone is here to meet you" he said.
