Chapter 42

Recap: Late night ice cream surprise - Romantic rain dance - Sharan kissing Isha.

Ishana's PoV: At morning
What have happened yesterday?? Is it a big issue?? He just kissed me. I am equally responsible for letting him kiss me.....But why Sharan is behaving like this suddenly?? Just because of a kiss.  He didn't talk with me after that. May be he don't know how to face me. Or may be he is thinking that I will hate him for that.

Sharan, what's this? I am fed up with this man. So much insecurities and doubts. He didn't understand me till now.

Anyway I will surely talk with him today and clear all misunderstandings.

With a determined mind I finished works in kitchen and moved to the hall. I found Appa there.

"Appa break fast is ready. Can I serve it?" I asked.
"Let's eat together Ishu" he said
"Ok I will call Sharan and angels." I said trying to climb the stairs where he stopped me.
"Wait wait..Sharan is not here" his words made me shock.
"What are you saying?" I asked.
"He just received a call from the office and rushed immediately. " Appa said.
"But he didn't eat anything. Why he didnt inform me?" I asked while my mind was trying to interrogate what I just heard.

Appa came towards me and patted me on my shoulders.

"Ishu beti..just relax. This is not the first time he is doing like this. He always care abt his business more than us." Appa said sarcastically.

Poor Appa don't know anything. I am sure. Sharan is just escaping from me. He neither got any call nor have any important thing in office. Coward idiot... How long will you escape from me Mr.Rude?? How many days will you avoid me?? Anyway I am not remaining idle this time... I know how to handle this situation. I am not going to leave you Sharan...

I served the break fast for everyone and arranged everything. I helped Varna and Veena to get ready to college. Without having my break fast I went to room. I took rest for sometime. Before noon I came downstairs and packed lunch for Sharan.

Appa who was standing on the court yard questioned me. I informed him that I am going to give lunch to Sharan. After a lot of questions he approved me to go.

When I reached office it was almost lunch time. The receptionist wished me and I smiled.

"Where is Sharan?" I enquired to her.
"Madam, Sir is at his cabin." She replied.

I moved to his cabin after saying thanks to her. I saw Sharan through the glass wall. He is sitting in a position resting his head on the table. I felt sad for him seeing him tired. I entered into the cabin without making any noise. I moved closer to him and caressed his hair with my hand. Suddenly he woke up feeling my touch. Seeing me he jumped up from the seat shockingly.

"Sharan it's me. Don't make noise. Your employees will misunderstand that your wife is trying to molest you" I said laughing. But he didn't react.

"Sharan this is not fair. Was it a bad joke? I made such a big attempt to make you laugh and what have you done? You totally wasted my joke. Idiot..." My last word made a small smile on his lips which suddenly get vanished.

"Sharan can u pls talk to me?? I am here only for you." I asked again.
"Isha what do you want? Why did you come here?" Finally he responded.
"I am here for my best friend. Because my friend is ignoring me from yesterday onwards. How can I be silent when I don't know the reason? And most importantly my friend didn't eat anything today. He skipped his break fast in the name of a fake emergency call from office. I know he will not eat lunch also. So I came with his lunch. Is it a big crime? Sharan tell me. What will you do if your best friend avoids you like this?" I asked in a single breathe.
"I will break my best friend's both legs if she stops talking with me" He said immediately.
