Recap: Ishran meet after 3 days- Sharan proves his innocence- start of a new friendship

Two days later

Sharan's POV

Isha is my best friend now but something is missing too for the last two days. I don't know why she is so sad. I tried to bring her to open up but she is trying to hide something. Anyways, I can't handle this anymore. I must know what is bothering her so much. Today, I will talk to her.

When I shouted for her, she was in the kitchen but she came out immediately.

"What happened Sharan? Do you need anything?" she asked me as soon as she entered the room. She stood there confused as I locked the door of the room and stood facing her.

"Sit here Isha" I led her to the bed and kneeled down in front of her, placing my hands on her lap.

"Sharan, I have a lot of work in the kitchen" she started to stand up but I stopped her.

"Keep quiet. The kitchen will run even if you are not there, Janimaa will take care" I spoke softly.

"Fine, tell me" she said understanding that I wanted to discuss something serious.

"Who am I for you?" I asked her and she appeared confused for a second before she placed her hand on my cheek.

"What happened to my Mr.Rude suddenly?" she asked.

"Isha, I am serious. Do you think of me as your best friend or am I just a stranger to you?" I looked right into her eyes.

"Why are you asking these questions? Did I hurt you in any way?" she looked thoughtful.

"You haven't answered my question" I said.

"You are my best friend Sharan. In fact, you are the only friend that I have now" she said and my heart melted a little at her words.

I stood up and sat beside her while she maintained a sad face thinking that she have hurted me in some way. I cupped her face in my hands.

"Isha, don't waste your precious tears for me. They are really valuable and I don't deserve them" I said and she looked at me.

"If anyone in this world deserves my tears then it is you alone Sharan" she said surprising me again.

"Then why are you hiding your worries from me? Don't you think that I have a right to know?" I asked openly.

"I didn't try to hide anything from you" she tried to defend herself.

"Isha....? I have been noticing you for the past two days and you have been a completely different person. Something is really bothering you. Please tell me and I will surely help" I said and she finally smiled.

Finally! I got a smile from my idiot. "Now tell me everything. Why are you so sad?" I asked holding her hand in mine.

She screamed suddenly, shocking the hell out of me. I looked at her hand and she immediately hid it behind her back.

"What happened to your hand? Show me" I asked trying to pull it back.

"Nothing Sharan... It's just...." she stammered but I managed to grab her hand, above her wrist.
