(Prince Sang min)👆👆

Mei stood in her own room in her father's palace for the first time in her eighteen years.  She was happy but at the same time felt completely empty. She'd left Silla without saying goodbye to any of her friends.

After Han Sung's funeral she just felt like she didn't have the strength for anymore goodbyes.

When she got home, her father held a huge feast in her honour. Of course her siblings weren't happy with her return but no one made a fuss because they knew she was going to be married soon.

Mei promised herself that she would do everything in her power to make the marriage work.  If they didn't fall for each other then at least they would be friends.  She wouldn't think about Silla or Jinheung, she'd forget everything.

"You know you messed up right?" Bai said seeming to appear out of nowhere.  "What are you talking about Bai and how many times do I have to tell you to knock"

"More times than we can count and I still haven't bothered to knock, let's just accept the fact that I don't knock." Bai said.   Mei sighed and sat down at the table in the middle of her room. Bai sat across from her and stared.

"Bai, I hope you aren't here to lecture me because I'm not in the mood" Mei said.

"Well yeah I did come to lecture you but since you don't a lecture I'll just skip to the second reason for my visit"  Bai said.

Mei sighed, she really just wanted to rest.

"The prince of Thailand arrives tomorrow and I came to tell you a little about him" Bai said.

Mei was automatically interested.

"Well go on" she said.

"Well his name is Sang min and he's twenty-five years old"

"Sang min, but that's a-"

"His mother is from Goryeo, both parents agreed on his name. He is actually a very good person and it is rumoured that most people want him to be king and not the crown prince but he doesn't want to be king"

"I  hope he's handsome" Mei said and put her hand under her chin.

"Is that the important thing here?"

"I want pretty children, just imagine if he isn't pretty and his genes are stronger than mine. Our children will be doomed!" Mei said in a dramatic way. Bai stood up abruptly

"Honestly, that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard" he said and started to walk out. Mei laughed, she'd actually been trying to cheer herself up.

Bai stopped at the door.  "You know it's not too late to go back, you still have three months before the marriage ceremony.  He'll come here and spend some time and then you'll go to his country and spend some time after that you'll be married here. Silla is not so far away you know"

"I know that Bai, thanks for coming around but please knock or I'll have you punished" Mei said and laughed when Bai turned around gave her a horrified look. He shook his head and left.   Mei lay down and stared at the ceiling. She missed Silla, she missed her friends, she missed Jinheung.
