Hwarang: A Different Kind Of Halfbreed.

For the past week, Mei's routine was the same.  She ate breakfast with her roommates and then she visited Jinheung even though he didn't pay much attention to her. After that she went to see Ah ro and Soo yeon.
  
"Please tell me how is Ban ryu?" Soo yeon asked.  Mei sighed and reluctantly told Soo yeon that Ban ryu was just fine. "Yah you ask that question everyday doesn't Ban ryu come to see you?" Ah ro asked.
   Soo yeon shrugged "Not really, he says he doesn't want to spend too much time with me when he's in the hwarang house because it might be distracting" she said and sighed.

"I miss him" she said.
Ah ro and Mei rolled their eyes, she had no idea how lucky she was.
Later on, before going back to the hwarang house Mei went to visit Soo ho.

"I'm sorry miss but master Soo ho refuses to see anyone" a servant told her.  "Show me to his room please" she said.  The young servant girl nervously took Mei to Soo ho's room. Mei knocked on the door but received no answer "Open this door or I'll kick it down, you know I'll do it" Mei said.  After a little while, Soo ho opened the door Mei was appalled at the sight of him.

She walked into his room and sighed.
  "What have you done to yourself?" She asked.
"Is there a point to you being here?" Soo ho asked. Mei couldn't believe how miserable Soo ho looked. He'd lost weight and he had dark circles around his eyes.

"Take a bath and get dressed, we're going to okta" Mei said.  Soo ho sighed and grabbed her wrist and dragged her to the door. Mei dropped to the ground, making Soo ho lose his grip on her wrist. She stood up straight and walked back to the room.  "Hear me out first, you have to be miserable about and I have something to be miserable about so let's go drink at okta.  I'll pay for everything" Mei said.  Soo ho nodded

"Give me twenty minutes"

Mei and Soo ho were completely drunk and seemed to have no intention of slowing down.

"With all due respect your highness, you are an idiot.  This man obviously doesn't love you and he never will why do you insist on hurting yourself" Soo ho said. Mei hissed and took another drink.  "You're one to talk, you were in love with a woman old enough to be your mother, not to mention the fact that your relationship would've been against the law"

"So let's  agree that we're both miserable" Soo ho said.
  "Fine but you're worse, you used to be the most popular man amongst the women in Silla and now you're locking yourself away because of a woman who was never yours to begin with" Mei said.

"We should go home, we've been here long enough " Soo ho said.  Mei shook her head and took another drink "No way, we still have so many drinks here and I'm not leaving here until you promise me that you're coming back to the hwarang house" Mei said

"Fine fine, let's go I just want to sleep" Soo ho said and stood up.  He helped Mei up and together they slowly made their way to the hwarang house.

Yeo wool, Ban ryu and Dan Sae watched Mei and Soo ho as they slept. Their bodies were tangled together and Mei's head lay on Soo ho's chest. The pair had come into the room the night before completely drunk and stumbling all over the place. They finally settled down next to each other and fell asleep immediately.
