Venting, i.e. telling someone about something you've been holding to yourself.
Most of the time, if I have a problem or a situation and I keep it to myself, I get so stressed about it it's actually unbelievable. However, telling someone (whether this be a parent, guardian, a friend or someone you trust) does help. Other people can put your issues into perspective, offer advice, and just be overall supportive with anything.
If you have something bugging you, tell someone! I know it's hard to talk to someone about your problems, but when I say you'll feel so much better afterwards, I mean it.
Or, if you feel you have no one to talk to, writing it down also helps. It's a way to get it off your chest, a little like talking about it.
