"What for?" I smirked at the prince playfully, pretending to be dumb so he would admit his mistake. I turned towards him and he let my wrist go shyly.

He folded his arms and bit his lips in embarrassment, "You know.. For trusting him.. and escaping."

"I'd like to take this moment to say... I told you so." I patted his head as he pouted in shame.

He folded his arms after hearing that, embarrassed, he looked the other way. But I held his chin, refusing him to look the other way and only towards me.
We were close, so close that we could feel each other breathing.

"I promised you," I inched closer.
"I'll keep you safe forever."

"Thanks, Sasuke. Thanks for protecting me." He became serious before looking a little sad.
"You remind me of someone.. That always made me felt safe and comfortable." He grabbed my hand, passionately.

What is this?
Is he talking about some ex love of his or what?

"Oh, do I know this person?" I pulled away my hand in jealousy.

"I doubt so. For a short period of time,I was sent away to live with him when there was a sudden attack on our empire. My father told me he was a powerful man so he was able to take good care of me."

I brushed it aside.
"I bet I can take care of you even better." The atmosphere tensed up when our eyes locked.

We were both feeling the moment. And it felt natural to move closer to each other. Until our noses cross and our lips met.

I closed my eyes and focused on the kiss. His lips were soft.
Just like his heart.

We were so passionate that I almost got myself into believing he would actually feel the same way for me.

He broke away.
As we gasped for air.

But my lips wanted more. I just wanted him. So bad.
So bad it hurts when I don't have him.

So I tried to kiss him again, but he pushed me away. "Stop!" He demanded.
"This isn't right!" His tiny hands pushing against my chest.

I stopped when the words got to me.
He's right.
This isn't right.
But it feels so good.

"I've never done anything that's right." I muttered before throwing myself on him again and he landed on the bed with me above him. The blonde prince's defense failed when I attacked so suddenly. Our lips crashed again and our bodies collided.
His warmth and his smell.
His eyes and his lips.
Yes, I just want him.
Him and no one else.

And I don't give a fuck if it's right or wrong.

"Naruto," I broke away as I whispered.
"I love you."

His eyes widen in shock.
Does he hate me for saying it?

"You-you love me?" He held my face, and his eyes were locked with mine. His eyes building tension, and expression so serious.

I nodded, yet fearing he would leave me because of it.
Abruptly, he pulled me in for a hug.
"I like you too."
He mumbled.

"I think.." He added sheepishly.

I pulled away to look at him, "Really?"

My love's face turned pink as he bit his lip and nodded.

I was so glad.
Because I was so scared that he would hate me for it.
So afraid he would never return my feelings.
Each day, my love for him goes stronger and it just feels like I am falling deeper and deeper into him.

I've never been so happy.

"Hey.. Sasuke." Prince Naruto called out to me while I was deep in my thoughts.
He rested his head on my chest while gazing at his ring. "Please don't tell me you're using my feelings to get my ring."

He still doesn't trust me. Even though he says he does.

"I told you, I won't do it ever again."

Don't you trust me? That's what I wanted to ask.

"If I may ask," I inhaled.
"Why is that ring so important that you would risk your life for it?" I exhaled slowly.

"Oh? Don't you know?" He played around with the ring in his hand. "This ring has been in my royal family for decades. My father entrusted me with it and I swore to do him proud by keeping it safe."

He chuckled before sighing aloud, "It is his most prized possession after all.."
He stopped playing with it and held it up as he stared at it.
"It always seems like he loves the ring more than he could ever loved me."
The prince eyes dimmed with sorrow.

I grabbed the ring and put it back on for him, and I gave him a peck on his head. "It's not possible for him to give you his most value possession unless you're valuable to him as well." He looked up to me, smiling from ear to ear upon hearing those words.

"Don't worry though, I'll love you more than anyone ever will." I stroked his hair like he was a child.

Yes, as long as he is by my side, he makes me happy.
And I will try my hardest to return the favor.
