"Don't waste my time. I've got no time for the small fry. Let me talk to your boss." I held my blades close, positioning myself for the massive fight.

"Fuck you! Don't look down on us!" The tattooed man who earlier approached us yelled.

The gangster began to make some noise and closed in on us.

Sakura wore her black fingerless gloves, even though she never killed, she was really skilled in combat. And she was ready to give them a good bashing but I stopped her.

"Let me handle this, pretty lady." I announced with a wicked grin, staring into the eyes of the hooligans.

Sakura had faith in me, she nodded and took a step back. Again, knowing me for so long, she knew there was no point to defy me.

There was nothing more I loved to do than to fight and kill.

Some of the thugs drew out their long swords while the rest came at me fast with anything they could get ahold of - From wooden sticks to metal bars.

"I like your long sword." I arrogantly stated.

"Then you'll have to kill me for it!" The man yelled agitatedly, preparing to use the sword to end my life.

"My pleasure."

*clang*

*clang* our blades met. Clashing into one another.

Some collisions were so strong it made sparks.

Unlike in the movies, the entire gang came dashing towards me at once. I leaped up as high as I can, landing on the gang mate holding onto the sword. I slashed his throat and twisted his neck. Then threw him at his buddies. They collided with the shop near by.

"U-gg!"

I took the sword proudly, and began slicing through one member at a time.

My hands were moving so fast, my eyes could barely keep up. Though my reaction speed was fast, I couldn't handle all at once.

I stabbed the long blade into someone, but while I was pulling it out, I got slammed by a bat from the back.

I turned around, and with the sword still stuck in that person's body, I fling the dead body off my sword harshly and stabbed the next with it.

Another man came running to me with a knife, *crack*

"How lousy." The sword broke into two effortlessly when our blades met.

"I guess I prefer mine." I pulled out my duel blades once again and fear was written on the remaining few surviving faces.

I threw the blade at one of them while he was still trembling. And it went right through him between his eyes.

And with that, they ran off like cowards. Leaving their weapons behind.

"Heh." I smirked while picking up my blade, even the handle was all soaked in blood. It was one bloodied battle.

The once empty ground was now filled with dead bodies, and the smell of it was revolting.

"Let's go-" I turned to Sakura while I slided my knifes back into the holder.

For a second, I thought I saw my parents walking past her. But it's not possible.

I completely forgotten about Sakura's existence as I ran past her and onto the streets where I saw my dead parents.

But they seemed to have disappeared within the crowd.

Were they even here to begin with?

Am I hallucinating?

"Sasuke! Are you alright?" She caught up to me, surprised by my sudden chase. "Did you see Naruto?" She continued her questioning when I kept my silence.

"N..no." I cleared my throat, acting like I wasn't losing my mind.

"Sakura, I've decided. At this crucial point, we shall separate. I'm too used to working alone and I don't want to deal with any setbacks." I coldly announced my decision as I pulled myself together.

"S-sasuke.. I'm not a burden!"

"It's decided." I walked away from her and to the direction were the cowards ran off to.

She wasn't a burden.

It's for her own safety.

It's getting way too dangerous now that I'm heading into their base.
