Prince Naruto's mouth hung open before he snapped back to reality.
"I-I-Ino! I know you're here to find a potential groom.. But Sasuke's.. Not the one."
I nodded, agreeing with Naruto. Even though, Ino resembles Naruto, I want the original Naruto.
"Besides, I already have someone-" Naruto planted his palms on my lips, muffling my words.
He looked uncomfortable and flustered. I guess he didn't want the royalty to know yet.
"Definitely not! Your father will never allow it!" Queen Tsnuade stormed off, knowing she will never win against the spoiled girl's debate. She mumbled to herself. "Wait till he hears of this! Outrageous!" Her voice echoed the hallway outside.
"My father gives me everything I wants." The blonde princess grinned mischievously.
"And I want you, Sasuke Uchiha!" She poked my cheek.
"No. Can you leave us alone? I need time to recuperate." I rubbed my temples, giving her the cold shoulder.
"Sasukeee, that's not a way to treat your bride-to-be." Her long fingers tickled my unharmed arm.
I quickly withdrew my hand, "I don't have a bride-to-be."
I looked at her sternly, before I let out a sigh. "Be a good kitty, and I'll play with you later okay?" And gave her a shot of my killer smile.
Oh, how she fell in love. Her face redden and she nodded violently. "Ye-yes!" She quickly left the room, squealing.
My attention quickly diverted back to Naruto once the door closed.
The prince had a look on his face I didn't like.
"What? Are you jealous?"
The blonde haired prince quickly realized that whatever was on his mind was displayed on his face. And he became embarrassed and quickly changed that expression to a pout.
"N-n-n-no-no!" His eyes avoided mine again.
My hand reached out to him, "So, what was about that love of yours again?"
He seemed even more embarrassed.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about! You must have heard wrongly!"
The prince swiftly stood up, but when he took a step away from me, I grabbed a hold of him.
"Don't leave." I smiled genuinely this time. "I need to hear those words again."
The prince finally mustered courage to turn and face me. "Y-you know.. When you were on the verge of death, it scared me.. Terribly. And that's when I realized.."
He gulped down, shyly.
Blue eyes finally meeting my coal ones.
"I love you, Naruto."
