Trouble arises

I was out battling with the cold again, it made me weaker and move slower.
It did me no good. I had to complete this mission as soon as possible so Naruto gets fed properly.
Hopefully Sakura has some change to spare in the mean time. I'm sure she'll take care of him.

I don't have to worry.

I just have to focus on my objective. I rolled out the scroll again and read it thoroughly.

I had to steal confidential documents in Naruto's kingdom. Great.
It had to be his kingdom.

Sakura's mission was usually safe, just involves a lot of stealthiness. Because she doesn't take assassination missions. So all I had to do was to hide in the shadows, sneak in like how I did before, get the crap and get the hell out.

Sounds easier than my usual work.

The night began to fall when I arrived in front of the palace again. Just in time.

Again, I was in this intense black outfit to blend in with the dark night. I moved quietly and slowly. This time there were more guards surrounding the kingdom. I had to knock out the guards at the entrance of the kingdom and dragged their bodies into the shadows where they were less likely to be spotted.

I slide myself in, staying close to the walls with the least lights. I had no intention of killing anyone today, anyone here could be friends with Naruto. And if I knew I murdered them, he would be angry with me.

I looked out for anything that could trigger noise and slowly sneaked into a tower where I could get up the roof tops. I could jump from tower to tower and into buildings more easily compared to on ground. So I took out some more guards and dumped their unconscious bodies.

I swiftly hopped from tower to tower like I planned. Some towers were separated and far from each other so I had to take risky leaps and use my grappling hook if needed. I'll swing myself across if I can.

I landed on the tower I was looking for. The important building that contained secret underground paths and rooms. To hide away their confidential and dirty secrets.
Let's see what Prince Naruto's father is up to.

I was on the roof, looking down to see if my landing caught any guards attention when suddenly a crow flew towards me.

Oh, shit.

It dropped a note and flew away, but the guards had noticed me already. I slipped the note in my pockets without reading it. I had to get away first.

The guards pointed and yelled out to sound the alarm while I fled into the important tower. I went into the room a few doors down the first hallway I saw and luckily it was open. Now all I had to do was hide.

And fortunately, the shadows were always my best friend. I stayed close in a corner, squeezed by a bookshelf and a wall in what seemed like an office room, as I breathed slow and steady. Trying not to make a sound.
My eyes scanning the area.

I heard footsteps running and pacing all across the tower and men yelling desperately to find me.

The voices and footsteps were further and further away from me.

When I decided it was safe enough, I pulled out the piece of paper.
"Return soon"

It was in Sakura's handwriting.
She was the only one who knew my location because she was originally suppose to take on this job.
But why? It surely had to be important for her to intrude in my mission.
Is it Naruto?
What the fuck exactly happened?

"Sasuke Uchiha." A deep voice growling in front of me.

Fuck. I dropped my guard.
I looked up quickly but before I could see who it was, that person knocked me unconscious.
