Uzumaki seemed to have calmed down and actually looking upset, seeing me like this. I've never been this miserable.
"I- I'm sorry, Sasuke. I have to go."
I need to hold myself together. I can't let myself shatter.
I just have to accept it. He will never love me.
The prince stormed off and Itachi's expression was just taunting me as he smirked before he followed along.
I fell to my knees weakly. And Sakura ran up to my side, "Sasuke, are you alright?"
"Just leave." I was staring down onto the wooden floor boards, creaking as my brother left with my love.
My fringe covering my eyes, hiding my pain and misery."Sasuke.."
"Just fucking leave!!" I pushed her away and she fell to the ground.
"Fucking leave like everyone else." I muttered to myself.
She decided it was best to leave me alone and she left to wait for me to calm down.
After she disappeared, all I could hear was my own heavy breathing.
And as I stared at the floor boards, I realized my tears escaped from my eyes and it dropped to the floor quickly.I could only kneel there, numb and weak.
I've never felt this way before.Love made me weak.
I hated it. I hated how weak he made me feel and he could just leave me. Just walk out of my life as if I never needed him! Fuck!
I slammed my fists the wooden floor with all my strength.
But I couldn't bear it, I couldn't bear the fact he was just simply gone.
I stood up and made my way out from the tower. "Sasuke!" Sakura called out from behind, "Where are you going, Sasuke?"
"It's none of your business." I continued to walk off, leaving her behind wondering.
It was an hour later, I ended up at my destination.
In front of Naruto's castle. The guards were instantly alarmed but before they could pull out their guns, I drew out my daggers, charged towards them and stabbed one in the face before dodging a bullet and used the dead solider's body as a shield. I threw the body to another as he fired furiously. I slashed them as the body slammed against his comrade.
I grabbed a gun and pointed it towards them. I reloaded it and my finger tips were touching the trigger."Stop!" I heard a woman's voice from above. "Everyone, lower your weapons!" She demanded.
I looked up to a tower and it was the Queen. As soon as she made the command, everyone immediately lowered their weapons. I threw the bloody gun on the floor as I observed her making her way down.
"Queen Tsunade!" They all bowed and greeted in unison.
"Don't harm him! Are you all fools?! He's the only one that knows where my dear son is!" She reprimanded them. What does she mean..?
"Prince Naruto hasn't returned?"
Just as expected, Itachi never had the intention to return Naruto to the queen.
Just what the hell was he planning?
All I know is that Itachi would never harm the prince.
The prince is too valuable."What do you mean returned? You set him free?" The blonde hair woman asked with a confused expression.
"No. Itachi took him."
"Itachi? Dammit.. When did it happen?"
"An hour ago.. He should have been back by now." Her sights set on the main entrance as if expecting their arrival any time soon.
I nodded silently with the same old emotionless face.
While exiting the palace, the queen stopped me by asking. "Where are you going, my dear Sasuke Uchiha?" Such hatred lingering around those words.
She must hate me for her husband's death and Naruto's disappearance."Look for your precious son, of course."
"And where would you start?"
"Anywhere. There's no use staying here, uselessly." I put my hands in my pocket and departed. A sigh automatically escaped my lips.
Where are you, Naruto?
I shouldn't have let you go.
