"Let me go!" Prince Naruto was shaken with fear, really badly.
I hated it. I didn't know why but I hated it.
My grasp on him became gentle as if I was carrying something delicate and precious.
"There's no need to fear me, I will not harm you." I proclaimed as I hopped out from the balcony, but my efforts were in vain. The boy was still trembling. I landed softly and quietly on my toes, as I covered the prince's mouth I made my way past the remaining guards and across the town.

As soon as I entered the forest, I allowed the prince to speak again. I removed my hand and apologized.

Wait, I apologized?
What is this boy doing to me?

"Please.. Just let me go." His head leaning on my shoulder and his big blue eyes staring into mine, eyes brimming with tears.
My voice turned soft and cold, "I'm sorry, I cannot allow myself to do that. You'll end up wandering alone out here in the night, and bandits will come after you. People who will actually harm you. "

I diverted my attention on the road, too afraid to look at him.
He began sobbing.
I'm almost at my limit. Quickly now, I have to make it home.
I sped up, avoiding trees and twigs on the way. Within a minute, I reached my destination.

And there, I placed the prince down into my mansion and locked the doors behind me. The prince looked worried and he clutched his hands together against his chest.
I patted his head, hoping he would feel comforted and assured. "Follow me, I'll bring you to your room." I walked ahead but when I didn't hear the lighter footsteps following me I turned around.

The blonde boy didn't move an inch. He froze in terror, looks like my hopes weren't going to come true any time soon.
I carried him up gently again, his smaller body fit in my arms perfectly and I loved every second of it.
I place him down onto the bed, "Here is where you'll sleep."
He sat on the bed and put up his legs against himself, he hugged his legs which made him looked lonely and miserable. "How.. How long am I going to be here?" He asked with his head down.

"I'm going to die in here, aren't I?"
The prince continued.
I sat on the bed as well but with my feet still on the floor, he moved away from me but I managed to stroked his hair.
"I promise you," I whispered.
"I'll keep you safe forever."

Prince Naruto looked up briefly, and for a second there our eyes met I wanted to devour him.

"Goodnight." I quickly left the room before I did anything stupid. I blew out the candle and closed the door behind me.
My heart was pounding rapidly. My hands just wanted to feel him again. My entire body was searching for him.
His warmth. His smell.
I can't believe I'm losing my cool for him.

My desire for him was unbelievable.
I killed my thoughts as I laid down to rest in my own bedroom.

How could I have fallen for someone I just met?

I blew out my candle, and shut my eyes. I can't wait for daylight to come so I could wake up and see him again.

Yeah, I've fallen.

Funny how he thinks he's my prisoner but I'm actually his's.

The daylight shone through my windows as I heard the birds chirping.
I sat up bright as I calmed myself down.
Don't do anything stupid.
Don't say anything stupid.
I kept replaying it in my head.

Finally after repeatedly reminding myself, I got up and checked on the prince. I opened the door slowly as it creaked softly. His back was facing me so I couldn't tell if he was actually sleeping.

I quietly stepped over to his bed side where he was facing and I squatted beside him. I had to get the ring out off him. After spending a few moments to hesitate, I carefully pulled down the sheets and gently held his wrist while my other hand slid off his ring.

Abruptly, the prince woke up, shocked and alarmed, he slapped me with his free hand. His slapped took me by surprised and it made me fall backwards.
"Give it back to me! How dare you! Give it back to me!" He sat up bright and screamed at the top of his lungs.

By the time I reacted, the prince jumped off the bed and onto me.
This shouldn't happen.
This couldn't happen.
Usually I'm fast, usually I'm alert.
The little boy wrestled with me for the ring in my palm, but I pinned him down in a flash.
He was no match for me, so he did the best thing he could do.

Cry.

It broke me.
"Please! It's very important to me! Please, give.. It.. Back.. To me."
He was looking so fragile that I had to fight the urge to consume him.
And there was another battle going on in my head as well.

The decision to keep or return it.
