Destiny

"Sasuke, listen. I am in love with you, I will not marry someone else." Naruto gracefully stated, his thumb brushed across my cheek as he leaned in towards me, planting a soft kiss on my lips. Everything happened so fast and passionately, while I was too absorbed with my own thoughts.

He made me forget my anxiety, the fact that he confessed his true feelings.. I couldn't feel any happier.

Our happiness didn't last long when Tsunade cut the corner and interrupted us. Catching us red-handed in a deep kiss. "Naruto!" She roared with fury. Naruto was startled and he jumped when he heard her loud booming voice. He quickly turn around to face her.

"Is this the reason why you don't want to marry?! Because of this-this.. Murderer?!" She questioned angrily. Naruto fearfully nodded. "Yes mom.."

She quickly dragged him away by his wrist violently. "Go to your bedroom NOW!"

"Mum, please listen to me! I'm really in love with him!" Naruto pleaded for his freedom, but his mother wouldn't hear any of it. She was furiously shaking her head when I stopped her.

"Queen, you should seriously listen to your son's decision. He is old enough to choose a fate for himself." I bluntly uttered, folding my arms. "Don't tell me what to do!" She pushed me aside harshly as my prince was bawling his eyes out, still pleading in vain.

I sighed automatically. I knew she would never accept us. The prince might just have to run away with me..

Now that wouldn't be a bad idea wouldn't it? I grinned to myself.

That night, I was outside of Naruto's window, preparing to sneak into his room. But Tsunade was still in it, talking calmly to Naruto. They were both holding hands, talking very seriously. Naruto was persuading Tsunade to not marry anyone else besides me. He kept on telling her about how much he is infatuated with me.

Tsunade could not believe her ears, her eyes just showing the amount of disbelief. But at last, she did calm down and was hearing her son out. Respecting his decision, she silently nodded and left the room.

"What did she say?" I asked as I entered the room through the balcony. It made the prince jump again as he looked over to me. It was like the first time I met him, he was in bed gorgeously. His blue eyes beamed when he saw me. Those beautiful big blue eyes..

"Bad news is I can't marry you, good news is she let me stay unmarried for now. She was hoping I would meet the right girl someday, fall in love and get married then." Naruto chuckled, his arms stretched out towards me. "But how can I fall in love with someone else when I'm already in love with you?" He embraced me. And my grip around him tighten.

Well, then fuck my plan. Tsunade isn't a bad person after all.

"I love you too, Naruto."

We fell asleep in each other's arms.

But happiness never lasts long for me.

My eyes shot open and I was sweating. I had a horrible nightmare, my parents died right in front of my eyes. It was like a memory that my brain shoved at the back on my mind so I couldn't remember the trauma it gave me. They overdosed exactly from the drug's Kakashi were holding.

I sat up to catch my breath, my blonde prince was still sleeping soundly.

The images just kept flashing through my mind, the memory just kept replaying. It didn't make any sense. Why would I only remember it now?

Had I really been traumatized?

I remember running over to my parents' motionlessly bodies and shaking them to wake up. But they just wouldn't wake up. I didn't know why at that time.. I didn't know why they would do such a thing and abandon me and brother.

Was it their own doing?

Or brother's?

I had so many questions for Itachi. I can't just stay here with Naruto. I need to find out what happened to my parents before I can enjoy my time with my prince.

"I'm sorry, Naruto.." I kissed his forehead before I stroked his hair and admired him like the first time I laid eyes on this brilliant human being.

But I have to go.

And so I did, I left the room through the balcony silently.
