"I CANT BELIEVE THIS!!!!" I shouted "WE GO MINING AND WE ONLY FIND COAL!!!! COAL OF ALL THINGS!!!"  I took off my helmet and threw it into the dirt. I stormed off to a near by log and sat down, pulling my knees to my chest.

A few minutes later, I heard someone coming up to me, but I didn't turn to see who it was because I already knew.

"Alex? You ok....?" He asked in a gental tone, setting his hand down on the log next to me.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I say in a strick, harsh tone.

"Alex, we've been friends for a long time, I can tell when something's wrong..." He sat next to me.

Softening my tone to match his "I just expected iron or something else beside coal in that cave..." I turned my head away for him, a tear rolling down my cheek.

"We just need to find a different cave" he said, he gently grabbed my chin and turned my head toward him, wiping my tear before it fell.

I saw his eyes fill with something I had never seen before. In the countless times I've seen his face, stared into his dark brown eyes, I had never seen them fill, with love. I lied my head on his chest and he scootched back a little not expecting what I did.

"Um.... A... Al... Alex?! Um...." He studdered. I pushed the hair out of my left eye and looked at him with both my scarlet red eyes. He seemed to calm down and his arm wrapped around my shoulders, and he smiled at me. we watched the sun go down and the stars come out.

Max mumbled something I couldn't hear, so I just said I know then dozed off, right there in Max's arms.

(Max's POV)

I felt Alex's breathing slow, and watched her beautiful red eyes close. After a few minutes, I picked her up bridal style and carried over to a bed near the fire. Setting her down, she resisted a little, but just fell limp and tired on the bed. I went over and sat next to Benja near the fire.

"Don't have a crush on her? Really?"

"Maybe a small one..." I trailed off, smiling as she filled my head again, "but only as a ..... Gaming crush...." I blushed.

"That, Max, is not a 'gaming crush'. Your full on head over heels for her." He said. I gave a small laugh, knowing he was right. I glanced up to Alex again, sleeping peacefully. I decided to head to bed myself, and set up a bed right next to Alex. I very lightly and gently kissed her on the forehead. One she would never know about, but it still was nice to think she would know. I don't know if it was a dream or what, but she smiled.

I swear to God, Her smile, whether she's asleep or awake, is the cutest damn thing I will ever see in my life. I drifted off, my head, full of her.
