TELEPORTED: book 1

Chapter 2

     The next morning I woke up to the repetitive beebing of my alarm clock. Still half asleep, I picked it up then dropped it on the floor. I hated getting up at five in the morning. I dragged myself out of bed, threw on a white tank top, a pair of dark blue jeans, and a Blu hoodie with a black creeper face on the back. I grabbed my green backpack that also had a creeper face on it, and ran my fingers through my red rimmed, boy short, emo black hair as I went downstairs.

     My parents were already at work, so I ate a bowl of cereal then went upstairs to record another YouTube video. I turned on the camera and brought Minecraft up then said my intro.

     "SUP WITH MY ENDER HERD???? As you dudes know, today, we are going to try and find Herobrine..."

     An hour later when I was done recording, I edited the video then posted. I jumped down the stairs, grabbed my backpack and was out the door.

     A few minutes after leaving my house, I noticed the air was cool and crisp. For a split second, I thought of taking the bus, yet I immediately pushed the thought out of my head.

     "Hey Alex! Wait up!" Someone behide me shouted, when I turned, I smiled at who I saw.

      "Hey Max" I said slowing down to let him catch up "how early did u have to leave? You live like... 3 miles that way." I pointed a finger down the way he'd come.

     "Eh, 'bout half an hour ago. I ran all the way here" he stated, gasping for air between each word.

     Max and I have been friends since we were 10, and ever since we've been inseparable. We did everything, if he sighed up for a sport, I was right there with him, if I decided to go to the weight room at school, he was right behind me. He even taught me the ropes of Minecraft, although lately, he's been acting weird around me, and now he's running 3 miles just to walk with me.

     "So when we get to school and log in to our PC's, what all needs to be done in Minecraft?" I questioned. 

     "Well, we need more wood for the furnaces, we should find a few more diamonds, and we need to finish our house, I'm tired of living in a mountain..." He said with that matter - of - fact voice he's got.

     "Ok then, a lot to do..." I said as we walked across the school parking lot. I felt something brush up against my hand,and glancing down, I saw Max's hand. I looked at him but he was looking forward, as if nothing had happened, but his cheeks were a little red. I began to notice that no one was outside, and usually half the school is out, even in the rare blizzards we get here in Sacramento.

     "Max? What's going on?" I asked looking at him expectently.

     "I don't know, but we better find out" he looked at me then stated to jog, as did I.

     "There's the Minecrafters!" One person yelled.

     "Maybe they know what's going on!" Shouted another. After a couple kids yelling there was  a weird cubed structure in he middlw of the cafeteria,We fought our way through the crowd till we got to the center of the huge room.

     "Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" I asked, jaw dropped.

     "Yeah..." Was all he said. In the middle of our cafeteria was an acitvated Minecraft nether portal. I walked  toward it and stuck my hand through. Seeing it on the other side as a block fist, I got exited. Before I said anything, I curled and uncurled my fingers a couple times, and they returned to normal.

      "Max! It's a portal to Minecraft!" I said, pulling my hand out. I let my backpack slip off my shoulder. "Hold my backpack, I'm going through.." I said, walking through.

     " Alex! No!" I heard, then I saw Max run in after me just as I came out on a plains biome. Turning my back to the portal, I looked around. Something popped up in front of me that said ' RegentArtist712 joined the server'. 

     "What server?" I asked myself as I scratched my head. "WHOA!!!!!" I shouted as I flew forward 15 blocks. Landing on my back, I turned around​ and looked at the portal, my eyes widening with fear.
