Chapter 15

(Alexs POV) 

     I stilled my breath and preformed wa'akir. (Wa'akir is the half demon art of stilling the breath and mind to the point of invisibility) I drew the bow back and aimed at the deer.

     "Hellooo Alexandra..." I jumped and shot my arrow over the deer. Turning around, I saw my shadow cat, Snowstreak.

     "I said don't call me that, you know my name is Alex. And by the way, did you have to pop up now? I'm hunting." I Walked over to the tree my arrow was stuck in and pulled it out, sticking it back in my arrow quiver. Snow climbed onto my head and sat down. Hanging her head in front of mine, she moved my hair away from my eye.

     "Well, looks like your demon is finally showing." She gave me her devilish smile. I looked at her.

     "Yeah, by force. Herobrine injected me with something that brought it out..." At the mention of his name Snow slipped off my head and landed on her back. 

     "WHO?!" she meowed. She got up and shook the dirt off her fur. "How'd he do that? He shouldn't be able to get to you, not with Max around...."

     "Well, it's not his fault, it's mine. I got captured and Herobrine got to me. It's ok, it was gonna come out anyway..." I shrugged, kneeling down to find the tracks of the deer. I looked behide me and saw the sun going down. "C'mon, you silly kitty, let's head home." Snow hopped into my inventory bag and we headed back to the house.

     As we walked in, Max leaned his head way back over the couch and smiled as he saw me.

     "Alex!" He cheered, jumping off the couch and running up to me and hugging me.

     " I wasn't gone that long!" I laughed but hugged him back. "Your still wearing my hoodie" I whispered to him, he smiled and looked at me.

     "So? It smells like you" he said, kissing my forehead. I heard a screech and looked up. Sitting on the rafters was Blaze, Max's phoenix.

      "Blaze is here too?" Snow popped out of my bag and climbed up to the rafters to prowl on him.

     "Same Snowstreak?" Max asked, looking up.

     "Same Snowstreak." I smiled. I walked over to the couch with Max and sat next to him.

     "AHHH!!! GO AWAY! GO AWAY! URRG!!! Rain bolted in the door and ran straight into the wall.

     "Oh!" I said closing one eye, "ouch!"

     "Bro, whatchu running from?" Benja asked as all of us pulled out a sword. We all turned towards the door as we heard a loud hiss.
