TELEPORTED: book 1

Chapter 22

(Max's POV)

     I slowly opened my eyes. Groaning I sat up, my hand on the back of my head. I got tackled back onto the bed by someone. Smiling, I hugged her as she cried into my bare shoulder.

     "Thank the damn God's your awake!!!!!!!" She cried.

     "Alex, calm down... I'll live" I told her, pushing myself back up, still holding her. Sky and the others were staring at me dumbfounded. I looked around, realizing I was back at the house. "What happened?" I looked at Alex.

     "You took a Creeper explosion for me, you were thrown against the wall and passed out. I was able to get you home and..." She trailed off.

     "How long was I out?" I looked at her, now worried.

     "Just over two months... Your heart stopped..." She met my eyes, and I pulled her forehead to mine.

     "I knew you'd help..." I said. Without asking, I knew why my heart was still working. Half demons can remove half their own heart beat and implant it in another. She restarted my heart by taking half her own.

     "She thought you'd never wake up..." Rain said.

     "I've got something to live for..." I said, and Alex layed next to me, and everyone else shoved someone else down the ladder to the mine. "No matter what happens" I whispered to Alex, "as long as your hear with me, I've got no intention of leaving."

     Alex yawned and I saw the bags under her eyes. "How long have you been awake?"

     "To long..." She layed on me and her breathing slowed as she fell asleep. I wrapped her in my arms, put her hat on the table next to me, and rested my head on hers. Even though I just woke up, I fell asleep with her.

     Waking up the next morning, I smiled at how peaceful Alex looked. I saw a note on the table on top next to her hat.

                          Went to get a few more things

                                                   -Sky, Benja and Rain 

     Whatever, I thought, still to tired to think straight. Letting my self doze back off, I only fell half asleep. Alex rolled over and took a deep breath. I smiled and decided to get up. Without waking Alex, I walked outside and sat next to the door. I felt something rub against my leg and looked down to see Alex's cat, Chica, with Snow right behide her. "Hey Streak" I rubbed her head first. Then put Chica in my lap.

     "Max" she meowed. My eyes opened in surprise.

     "Why can I under stand you? Only the owner of a shadow cat can do that." I said, poking her.

     "When Alex replaced your heart beat with half of hers, I guess some of it rubbed off. That or you've just been around me enough." Blaze landed on her head and snow just looked up. A hand fell onto my shoulder and I looked up to see Alex, wearing that hat again.

     "Morning Max, morning Snow" she scratched her then chica and sat next to me.

     "Morning babe" she blushed at the nickname. She leaned on my chest and I wrapped an arm around her. I became to hum the song again, not caring if she heard it. Her face lit up, and she started to sing the words as I hummed the beat.

     A few hours after we finished, the other three showed up.

     "We ready to go?" Benja flipped a piece of Flint in his hand.

     "Yay!" We cheered. We all went inside and grabbed everything we needed. Full diamond armor, a sword, a bow for Alex of course, and plenty of food. Alex put on her armor and wrapped a belt around her waist, which she used to hold her swords, she flung the bow and arrow quiver onto her back. Taking the Flint and steel, she light the portal I had just built.

     5 pigmen climbed through, Alex killed them easily but 3 more showed up for every 1 she killed. I started hacking away at them too. 2 of them grabbed Alex by her arms and dragged her toward the portal.

     "No!!!" I shouted, killing faster.

     "Dammit! Let me go!!" She fought to get free. A sword was pushed to her thoart and she immediately stopped fighting. I looked at her as she mouthed the words 'I'll be ok...' and I watched as all the pigman took Alex away from me once again, this time to hell itself.

     "We need to go get her!" I said, turning and looking at the other three.

     "Max, theres no telling where they took her, the nether is endless, ev.." Rain said but I cut him off.

     "No! The first thing we do when we walk though that portal is find Alex!" Tears formed at the edge of my eyes. Benja placed his hand on my shoulder.

     "We'll find her Max. I know how much she means to you..." He paused, "What, she means to you..."

     "Yeah, we'll get her back, don't worry Max" Sky reasured me. I nodded and pulled my diamond swords out. My brown eyes glowed white as I turned away from all of them. "Herobrine..." I heard Sky whisper. 

     I hopped up on the edge of the portal. I looked back a little bit. In a voice that counld have come from the center of a blazing fire, I said " I'm not Herobrine..."

    "I'm his son" I walked through and didn't look back.
