TELEPORTED: book 1

Chapter 14

     (Maxs POV)
     Sky and benja sat near me on the couch.
     "Hey guys" I said.
     "Hey Max, you Good bro?" Sky asked.
      "Yeah I'm ok, just got a cut that was bigger then I thought." I laughed and scratched at the bandages.
     "What did you do?" Benja questioned. I looked at him confused.
     "What do you mean?" I said, still confused.
     "Well, I mean, you and Alex get teleported and your just friends, you show back up and your..." he trailed off.
     "Dating" Sky finished for him. I scratched the back of my neck. I trusted them, so I decided to tell them.

     "It happened the morning after we teleported. We couldn't decide which way to go, so she bolted one direction. I chased her, trying to get her to come back but it spirled into a game. After I ducked into the forest, I ran beside her till she stopped running. I jumped out at her from behide a bush and pinned her down by her shoulders. After letting her up, I don't know what came over me but.... I kissed her..." I said, my face red the whole time, "what surprised me though, is that she didn't even try to move away, at all..."

     "That's cause you froze her with shock!!!" Benja said, smacking his forehead. I just laughed and leaned my head back and the edge of the hoodie flapped over my nose. I breathed in deeply. Smells like Alex.... I thought. I heard a screech and snapped my head up as a flaming bird flew toward me.

     "Blaze?!" I said as the phoenix landed on my shoulder. I scratched the bird on top of it's head. "Crazy bird. Is Snowstreak with you?" Blaze shook his head. "Well, she'll show up, I'm sure....."
