Chapter 45 - You Didn't

Kyla's POV
Expecting to hear Jack's voice, I turned around smiling only to see Ethan looking at me. I put my bowl of Lucky Charms on the floor and walked over to him. That's when I saw him...

Grayson Bailey Dolan.

"So am I allowed to come into my own house or?" Gray said sarcastically. I felt Ethan staring at me, waiting for some kind of reaction. I couldn't look away from Grayson. Part of me had forgotten how much I loved him until now. Ethan grabbed my hand and moved me out of the way of the door, letting Gray into the Warehouse. Gray walked over to the sofa, sat down and watched Rick and Morty.
"Where the fuck have you been?" Ethan sounded annoyed.
"Clearing my head."
"That's not what I asked."
"I know. Why would you care anyways? I'm sure you two had a great time alone together."
"Hey!-" I looked at Ethan and shook my head as he began yelling.
"Grayson" I said sternly. He turned to face me, causing a small lump in my throat to form. "We only got back from the hospital yesterday."
"Hospital?" Gray asked, confused.
"Yeah, I was in a car accident. Dislocated my ribs, Kyla sliced her fucking leg open climbing into my truck, which was on fire and got stitches. Where the fuck were you, huh? When I needed my Brother, where the fuck were you?!" Gray looked shocked, like he had no idea what we were talking about.

"Well are you okay?! I...I didn't know." He said concerned, looking down at the floor.
"Yeah right, Kyla called you a million times and texted you. She checked her phone every fucking day for you. Jack called you, I'd called you. You didn't answer anyone."
"I didn't want to afte-"
"Gray we apologised!" I tried calming the situation.
"No" he stood up, walked over to me and looked me in the eyes. I felt his breath on my face and felt my cheeks begin to redden. "You did." He turned to face Ethan. "But he didn't."
"What?" Ethan laughed. Gray walked over to him and stood a few inches away from his face.
"I said, she did. You didn't." Ethan raised his eyebrow and smirked.
"I've got nothing to apologise for. You weren't dating when I fucked her." I honestly thought Gray would have hit Ethan again but instead, he smirked back at him, walked back to the sofa and sat down.

Nothing much was said for the next hour, we just sat on the sofa like nothing had happened. I could feel Ethan staring at me, for some reason, he was tense. He sat next to me and scowled over at Grayson a few times when Gray had glanced over at me.
Unlocking my phone, I checked the time. 2:15pm. I'll admit, knowing both twins were watching me and each other made me extremely uncomfortable. Even a little self concious...

Grayson's POV
Ethan watched me like a hawk, I could see him glaring at me through the corner of my eye. It's not that I was purposely trying to look at her, I couldn't help myself. Being away from her for a week had killed me. I never wanted to leave but I definitely needed that time away from the both of them. She looked cute, in her pyjama shorts and one of my baggy shirts. Noticing the stitches on her thigh, I remembered what they had told me... About what she had done to save my brother. I wanted to hold her, tell her I'd missed her... Tell her I was worried and I'm glad she's okay. Part of me couldn't help but wonder what had happened between her and Ethan since I'd left. He seemed pretty protective of her.

Were they dating now?

"Kyla, I'm gonna run to the shop really quick. Wanna come?" She looked over to me and we found ourselves locking eyes.
"I'd actually like to talk to her." Ethan looked over to me and then back at her.
"Is that what you want?" She nodded. He sighed, kissed her on the cheek and whispered something to her. She smiled lightly at him and stroked his cheek.

"It's okay" she whispered to him, loud enough for me to just make out.

(So Gray's back... He was away for 11 chapters! 😱

That could only mean MORE drama though...🙃
