Chapter Fourteen
I carried a crying Mia into my car and placed her on her car seat in the back of my car. I didn’t like putting her in the front just in case, even if her car accident had been whilst she was sat in the back of a car.
“It’s okay now Mia, please stop crying. I know the person is mean, we will make sure she gets told off okay?” I offered, whilst wiping away her tears with my thumb. I hurt so bad when I saw her like this.
“Yeah, she’s a bitch.” She told me and my eyes widened in shock. What did she just say?
“Mia that is a very naughty word, you can’t say that. She is mean, but you can’t swear, that’s very naughty,” I told her, careful not to make her even more upset, which will make my guilt double over.
She frowned, “but you said that word, about Daina.” She told me and I cursed under my breath. I should have known! She always repeats words after me. Damn it Georgie!
“Yeah, I know. Bad mummy, but I made a mistake and I’m going to punish myself later, but to make sure you don’t get told off, I don’t want you to ever say that word okay?” I asked her and she nodded her head.
“Yeah, I don’t want to get told off. Mummy, don’t tell yourself off, it’s not fair.” She whined and I had to resist my aww.
“Okay, I won’t tell myself off. Let’s forget this and go to McDonalds eh?” I asked as I buckled her in.
“Yeah!” she screamed, clapping her hands together, missing them repeatedly. I sighed. It hurt when she couldn’t do things properly, like clapping. She always missed her hands, but the funny thing is it doesn’t seem to phase her one bit.
I smiled at her as I wandered round to the driver’s seat. I pulled it into drive as I pulled out of the stupidly small car park that is ridiculous.
Mia was literally the only one that stopped me from landing that snobby cow right in the face. How the hell can someone be that stuck up? The way she was looking down on me was making my anger boil, so I calmed myself down by counting to ten. The last thing I wanted was to cause a car accident, especially after everything we went through.
I blew out a breath as I drove to the McDonalds out of town so that I could go to the drive thru, I couldn’t be bothered getting out of the car.
“Welcome to McDonalds, how may I help you?” The bored voice from the speaker sounded.
“Please can I have a chicken nugget happy meal with Coke and a chicken nugget medium meal with Fanta?”
“Yes, please move to the next station to pick your food and pay.” She moved me along.
I paid for the food and got it and placed it on the front seat, we can eat it when we get in, seeing as nobody is going to be there to complain plus I don’t trust myself to eat and drive like I used to.
“Mummy! Can I eat my nuggets now?” she whined as we set off back home.
“Not yet baby, just wait fifteen minutes till we get home,” I smiled at her through the mirror but I don’t think she saw as she wasn’t looking at me.
“Okay mummy.”
I drove with the radio on for the rest of the journey. When I pulled up outside my house, I saw a silver car in the drive way. Must be Gordon’s as I don’t think I have ever seen it before…
Justin’s POV
I was sat in my car, waiting for her to come back from college. Yes I’m a stalker, but I believe that Georgie will realise that what we had was amazing then we can put the brat up for adoption, or I’m sure that stupid friend of her’s that used to talk to me on Facebook a lot will talk her in. I’m positive it will work, I have it all planned out. All I need to do is get Georgie alone, without my replacement and we should be able to put part one into action. I couldn’t help the smile from creeping on my face. All the shit that has happened in my life will all be okay, starting tonight.
I took a huge bite of the sandwich that was in my hand as I flicked through the radio stations, trying to find a good song. Why do they always put the news on every station all at the same time?
A car noise behind me diverted my attention from the radio to my wing mirror. The smile grew even more prominent on my face as I noticed Georgie’s car park behind me, preventing me from getting out.
I stepped out of the car, at the same time she did. My smile wavered when a frown was fitted on her face. “What the hell do you think you’re doing here?” she screamed, after she closed the door to her car. I looked in her car to see the thing that ruined my life, looking worried in the back.
“What do you mean?” I wondered, furrowing my eyebrows together.
The look on her face, made me think that steam was going to come out of her ears, like in the Looney Tunes, “you know damn well what I mean Justin! You can’t keep turning up like this! I want to go inside with MY daughter so we can eat our take out and I can do my coursework in peace.”
This is my time to shine, “Well, this is the perfect time for me to get to know her then isn’t it? You can eat your take out then when you go wherever you go, to do your coursework, I can look after her,” I told her. It was the simplest thing ever!
She looked at it in the car then back at me, “No! I am not in the mood for this right now!” She looked back at her in the car, “So please just piss off and leave us all to it. We don’t need your help. Haven’t done for the past five years and we certainly don’t need it now!” She hissed.
Wow, this is going to be a little bit harder than I thought! “Aww come on G, we both know that you still love me, besides, I think it will be good for both of us if we get back together.” I persuaded her, using my best persuasion techniques.
“Don’t call me G!” she snapped, and I took a step back before venom started exploding all over me.
“Aww G, don’t be like this. Let me get her out of the car or something eh?” I offered.
“Justin, if you don’t get the fuck away from me now, I’m calling the cops. You lost all chances with Mia and myself when you walked away like the coward you are! Adam, I and Mia are very happy now and if you love me, even the smallest amount, you would accept that and go back to France.” She told me sternly, again, looking back at the brat that was watching our conversation. Nosey shit.
I decided to ignore her pleas, “What’s happened to her eye?” I wondered when I stepped closer to her car. God! She was the spitting image of G! I wonder if we could make her look like she is Georgie’s sister? I’m sure that would work…Plus it would be better, because I doubt she would wanna be away from her.
“Oh seriously Justin you’re doing my head in!” she cried throwing her hands up, making me laugh at her over-dramaticness. “Right, I’m going to go to my car and drive away for a few minutes, when I get back I want you and your car gone.” She warned me as she got in her car.
I sighed, but got into my own car. I am not giving up on her that easily. Every day I am going to try until she takes me back, then as soon as that happens we can get part two into action, get rid of the brat.
