"No, I'm taller!" She pouts, getting on her tippy toes. I stand there, chuckling.
"Beat it, kiddo. I'm taller." I put a hand on her head, the other one tucked casually into my pocket.
She huffs and crosses her arms. "Well, Yoongi oppa's still taller than you."
"By a fucking centimeter!" I chuckle.
"Park Jimin, are you cussing at my girlfriend?" Yoongi steps out of the bathroom, a towel clutched in his hand.
"N-no, hyung." My smile falters a bit. Girlfriend. I didn't like that word, not at all.
She runs into the arms of Min Yoongi, an innocent smile on her beautiful face. I remember the first time we met. The first time Suga introduced her to us. (y/n), a bubbly, childish, clumsy girl who would ask many questions. Her smile brightened my day, and her presence in general cheered me up. I knew I wanted her, but how can I when I see her so happy with hyung? Will she ever be mine?
Your POV
I sob in Jimin's arms. Yoongi pulled the card. He broke up with me. He left me for another girl. My best friend, to be specific, and I was heartbroken.
"Shh, it'll be alright! I'm sure someone better than him is gonna come around!" Jimin sits next to me, a comforting arm wrapped around my shoulder.
"Jimin-ah, thanks. It'd be nice if that person came soon, though." I smile at him and wipe my tears away.
Will it be you? I keep thinking to myself. I blush to myself, hoping Jimin didn't notice. I lean in closer to him and sit there like that, talking my worries away, for a few more hours. Shivering, I look up to see flakes of snow to fall down from the sky. The streetlights above our heads were soon covered with a white blanket of snow.
Jimin holds his hand out, his scarf covering half his face. He smiles to himself when he catches a snowflake. The smile that has the power to melt my heart. That sweet and innocent smile, even though I know he's far from that.
"It's so pretty, isn't it?" I ask, grinning.
"It is. This is the first snowfall this year. Very special, eh?" He looks at me. I nod in agreement and zip my jacket up tighter.
"Well, thanks for cheering me up."
I stand up to leave, but Jimin stops me. "(y-y/n)?"
"Hmm?"
He leans in and kisses my forehead. I stand there, shocked by his action.
"You didn't slap me! Does that mean.." He attaches his lips to mine and bites my lower lip gently.
I don't reject him, and he happily roams my mouth, savoring every moment. After a while, we pull away in need of oxygen.
"(y/n), I love you. I loved you ever since Yoongi hyung introduced me to you. He's a jerk for not noticing how amazing you are. You're gorgeous. A-and I want you to be mine. And I'll never let go. Promise I can treat you better."
I give him a shy smile. "Jimin-ah..."
Two days later...
"Aww, come on! Call me 'oppa'!" Jimin pouts.
"No!" I stick my tongue out.
"Aing, jagiya~! Please?"
"No. You can't make me!" I giggle and squeal as Jimin starts chasing me.
"Just once~!" Jimin encloses me in his arms. "Please?"
I give him a sly smile. "Maybe~?"
"Jagi~!" He pouts. "I'm gonna get all angry!" He crosses him arms and starts sulking like a little kid.
"Aing, oppa! Don't be like that!" I give him a hug, almost tripping myself in the progress.
"Ha! You said it!" Jimin gives me a peck on the cheek.
I pucker my lips, but not in that flirty way. More of that pouty way, you know.
"What are you doing?"
"Sulking." I cross my arms and pout.
"Aww, you're still cute!"
I try to hit him, but I end up tripping over my own foot. Luckily, I lean against the wall for support and manage to stop my fall. Laughing, I slap Jimin on the back.
"What was that, (y/n)?" Jimin stifles a laugh. "You tripped over air?"
"My foot, to be precise." I laugh. "I know I'm clumsy so shush."
"That's one of your charms!" Jimin kisses me on the lips this time.
