As always, the first thing I did when I got done with class was call Yoongi. He didn't pick up as usual and simply messaged me instead.
" the restaurant at eight street "
His message was short and sweet, and I let out a soft sigh, knowing exactly where to go. Since we've been together for five years, we were able to figure out what the other person meant even with a vague description. I started to make my way towards Eight Street, knowing the walk won't take long.
Once I got to the small restaurant, I called Yoongi's name in a loud voice. Instead of a spoken answer, I got a bony hand waving at me from the corner of the room. I made my way over to the table, where Yoongi and a few of his classmates were sitting.
"Woah, so is this Yoongi hyung's girlfriend that he refused to introduce us to because she was too beautiful?" A young-looking male asked, staring at me with wide eyes.
Yoongi smirked and patted the spot next to him, signaling for me to sit down. I took a seat next to him and glanced at the food set out on the table. "Her name's Y/N."
"You're really pretty, just as Yoongi said!" Hoseok smiled. The only reason why I knew his name was because he was Yoongi's best friend and dorm mate. I simply sat there and bowed my head as a small thank you to all the compliments.
I slowly reached for Yoongi's chopsticks when a pale, bony hand stopped me. My eyes glared up to find my boyfriend smiling at me. "No, we're going to get something much better than this, piggy."
I rolled my eyes at his nickname, but at this point, I was used to his teasing. The classmates dining with Yoongi simply stared at us as if they were surprised that Yoongi was this gentle and playful with me.
In college, Yoongi was known as the cold and scary upperclassman that knew how to throw a few punches. So of course it was quite shocking to see that he actually had feelings and a sense of humor.
"But you already ate-" I started to protest but was cut off my a calm voice.
"No I haven't." Yoongi responded, looking at me. Confused, I turned my gaze towards the food then back at Yoongi. "You can ask them if you don't believe me."
"Did he not eat anything?" I asked the two boys, startling them from taking a bite of the scrumptious food.
The young-looking one shook his head. "He said that he was going to wait so that he could eat with 'piggy', and judging by the nickname, I guess he meant with you..."
I shot lasers at Yoongi with my eyes. He simply chuckled at my actions before grabbing me by the wrist and pulling me up from my seat. "Come on, piggy. Let's go get food." He laughed as he dragged me towards the counter, quickly paying for his friends' meal before stepping out of the restaurant and heading towards another alleyway.
"Where are we going?" I asked as I trailed behind Yoongi like a puppy.
"To get some fried chicken and beer."
