He watched her from a distance, knowing that them two weren't made to be together. But her lovely laugh, adorable smile, and quirky habits were a temptation. As she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, he took a deep breath.
"Yah!" His walkie talkie hissed. "Jung Hoseok!"
"Wae, hyung?" He picked the device up.
"Report back to base before anyone sees you! Babo, what are you doing staying out in the open?" Yoongi whisper-shouted. "Are you watching Min (y/n) again?"
Hoseok gulped. "No, I'll be right there. Give me a few minutes."
He dashed off into the alleys, casting the beautiful girl another glance. His footsteps made no noise, and he fixed his cap. As he edged closer to the hidden building, Hoseok pictured her once more and trudged inside.
"Yah!" Yoongi pushed him against the wall. "The fuck are you doing out? I told you not to wander around by yourself! If he catches you again..." He scowled as a handsome man pulled him away from Hoseok.
"Min Yoongi, calm down." Shaking his head, Jin sighed and patted Hoseok's shoulder. "Don't get too attached to her. Remember, you're just a spy. We got enough information and are planning to strike tomorrow at noon."
"Imagine the headings: 'CEO Min Sungjoon's Dark Past Leaked'!" Jungkook laughed.
Hoseok managed a small smile. "Yeah..."
"This is what we dreamed of, Hobi-yah. You can't turn back now. Everything's ready, and wouldn't it be weird to let one girl ruin it?" Jin looked at him.
Hoseok suppressed a few arguments and grinned at his crew. "Yeah, I guess..."
"Hyung, can you believe it? We're claiming our rightful seats again!" Taehyung chuckled.
Hoseok beamed down on his younger friends. But his usual sparkle was dimmed with worry. He knew that would crush (y/n). To watch her father's empire crumble like that. Her father worked very hard to make Genius Lab the fast-growing company it is known as today, but she didn't know that Yoongi was the original owner.
She didn't know that her father hacked into the Agust D's laptop, and stole Yoongi's ideas of creating Genius Lab. Author's Note: Let's just say that Yoongi and Agust D are different people and are twins in this imagine~ She didn't know that Yoongi planned to have his seven friends in the business as well. She didn't know that her father sent a hitman (Hitman Bang!! 😂😂) to kill Yoongi one night. She didn't know the blood-thirsty man that they knew. (Y/n) just saw a workaholic that gave her money instead of time.
"But what about his daughter?" Jimin spoke for the first time. "She doesn't deserve this, does it? When you guys set me up as a Valentine..."

"I need to talk to you about something." Yoongi started talking in hushed tones while Agust D nodded along.
Hoseok sighed as everyone got back to getting ready. He trudged off into his room, worried sick for (y/n). He decided to just end the day early, saying that he didn't feel so well. Laying down on his bed, the only thought that was floating in his mind was of her.
