Massive Comeback

The match started. Syahmi and Suhaida look determined. Suhaida appears ready. Syahmi is with his guarding block. On Team Perkasa, there's only Detective Hazim and Syahmi.  Team Slayer on the other hand still has Suhaida aka Ruby, David and Doc. Lau is in the treatment room. Rhyno immediately left the arena after he gotten his treatment. He doesn't care about anything now. What's important he had done what was supposed to be done now.

Suhaida attacked first. She knows Syahmi doesn't have the guts to attack first. A couple of attacks are launched towards Syahmi. But when he is attacked, he surely needs to attack back. David smirked. Looks like Suhaida has an advantage in this round.

"Syahmi, don't rely on your emotions," said Detective Hazim to himself.

That time, Suhaida delivered a punch to Syahmi's face. The punch is blocked and caught. Suhaida twisted Syahmi's hand and locking his neck from behind.

"Not much of a challenge." whispered Suhaida to Syahmi's ear.

Syahmi escaped from the lock and used the same technique towards Suhaida. "You think?" replied Syahmi while smirking.

"Sure.." Suhaida escaped from the lock. She then kicked Syahmi until he was pushed backwards. It was a strong kick. Syahmi fell and rolled down on the floor. He tried to stand back up. Suhaida immediately dashed towards him.

"Fight, Syahmi!" Suhaida launched a couple of punches and kicks. "Fight!"

Syahmi avoided and blocked all the attacks. It's his turn now to attack. Suhaida is not a girl you can mess with. For now, none of Syahmi's attack manage to hit Suhaida. That's good too. If possible, he doesn't want to hurt the girl's body. He doesn't even want to hurt any girl. but now, he needs to make a choice. Himself or Suhaida. It's clear that the choice he should make is himself. He is sure that Suhaida knows that too.

The cheers from the crowd becomes louder. The fight looks more mesmerizing when both fighters start to show their abilities. Both Syahmi and Suhaida are doing their best. Both of them fighting for their objectives.

"Sorry, Suhaida." Syahmi saw his chance.

Poww!

Death spin right at Suhaida's ribs. The girl rolled on the floor. Coughing. The referee starts his count. One until ten, Suhaida is left there lying on the floor. Syahmi won. The crowds cheered louder. Team Perkasa is leading with 2 - 1 .

Syahmi approached Suhaida. "Suhaida, I'm..."

"No, you don't have to.. say sorry, Syahmi." Suhaida smiled bitterly while holding her ribs, trying to hide her pain. "It's only a minor injury. If I got the chance, I would you beat you up even worse, Syahmi. You're doing what you're supposed to do, Syahmi. Stay determined."

"Suhaida.." 

That time, David and other Slayer team members scowled at Syahmi. Syahmi scowled back. It's true Perkasa is leading the score. But, Detective Hazim and Syahmi are both tired and injured. If they fight again, their probability of winning is quite low. But, what can they do now? That's their only option for now.

"Rest, Syahmi. My turn." said Detective Hazim.

"Three versus five. Hey, that sounds very unfair!" A voice from the middle of the crowd stopped Detective Hazim from stepping into the court. That voice...

Everyone gave space to reveal who's the person behind that voice. A man in his 40s is smirking while both of his hands are in his pockets. All of them are shocked.

"That's.." David is stunned.

"Sam?!" Detective Hazim is shocked.

"Dad!" Syahmi is shocked plussed with happiness. He's excited to see his father standing there, alive.

"Yup, very unfair indeed." A man came from behind and then stood beside Sam. Zarith.

"Cobra?!" All of them became more shocked.

Zarith smiled. "Cobra? Who's that? He's long gone. Call me Zarith."

"According to the organizer, anyone can fight for any team if they don't have enough members to fight. As long as the match hasn't started yet." said Sam while both him and Zarith walked towards the court.

"So, we came here for Team Perkasa! Who's here with Perkasa?!" shouted Zarith. The whole arena starts to cheer.

Sam and Zarith stood with Detective Hazim and Syahmi. Weird. Syahmi and Detective Hazim are confused because Sam and Zarith are like close friends, not like a police and criminal anymore.

"Hazim." said Sam.

"I know you are still alive! Haha!" Detective Hazim punched Sam's left shoulder. "I knew you'd come back for me!"

Sam smiled then turned his vision towards Syahmi. "Syahmi."

"Dad."

"Why did you joined this tournament? Hmm?" Sam posed just like a mother scolding his son.

"Err.. Umm.." Syahmi scratched his head, thinking of an answer.

Suddenly Sam pulled Syahmi towards him. "If Syahmi is lost, then I'll be lost too." said Sam while hugging his son.

"Dad.." said Syahmi, touched. He felt like he wanted to cry, "But.. why..."

"Oh, Zarith? Long story. But he's on our side." replied Sam.

"He attacked Syahmi." said Detective Hazim.

"Oh, that? I told him to do that. I wanted you to go back. I'm afraid if anything happens to all of you, to Syahmi. That's why me and Zarith pretended to be long gone. To protect all of you. If David knows that I am still alive, he would attack the ones I love, to make me weak. But it looks like, you guys are tough cookies. I like that." said Sam while rubbing Syahmi's hair.

Jay announced that round four will begin anytime soon. Sam looked at Zarith. Nodded. Zarith will be fighting for this round. His opponent? Doc.

"Ready to die again?" asked Doc in a sarcastic tone.

"You should try it once in a while." replied Zarith.

"Try what?"

"Being dead."
