It's been about 8 days having this job. Every single day the kids have pulled a prank on me.

Day 1:
I was showering and those fuckers put a rat in the shower

Day 2:
they put a snake on my bed while I was peacefully sleeping

Day 3:
rat traps all around the floor of my room

Day 4 :
replaced my toothpaste and put fucking sour cream. That was my fault for not smelling it first, because once you open it you instantly get the smell of mint.

Day 5:
scared me with a clown mask

Day 6:
put clear plastic wrap on the door and making me run into it

Day 7:
Replaced my jelly from my jelly donut to ketchup. Which I'm in idiot for not smelling that either

Day 8:
Poured a whole bucket of water on me in the middle of the night. How the hell did they even get in if I locked it? I don't know how they did it. But that still won't make me quit.

"Wake up boys!" I yell entering the boys room. The two twins and Cameron share a room. I swear I get so confused with all these kids. I mean it's such a blessing being able to have a kid but this is way too much.

"I'm tired!" Chris whines. "So am I, now get up!" They all groan and get out of bed. I then go wake up the girls.

"Good morning girls!"

"Good morning Blake!" Bailey says and gets out of bed. I sit on Sky's bed and she smiles

"Good morning princess" I said and peck her all over her face. She smiles widely and hugs me

"Okay I'll meet you girls downstairs, so be ready in 10" they nod and start getting ready. As for the oldest they didn't need me to wake them up. But I still went to check

"Good morning Xavier" He sends me smile. His smile is so beautiful just like his fathers

"Good morning Blake"

"Just making sure you were up, I'll see you downstairs" He nods and now I go to Aaliyah's room

"Come in!" I go in and she was doing her makeup all happy until see realized it was me. "What do you want?" She asked

"Well good morning to you too. Just making sure you were up, so I'll see downstairs"

"Whatever" She mumbles

"Look Aaliyah, I don't know what your problem is but I did nothing to you"

"You, you're the problem Blake. None of us want you here, okay? We don't want some stranger ruining our family"

"Ruin it? All I'm doing is taking care of you kids. I have no intention of hurting you guys. So I don't know what you mean by 'ruin' why can't you understand"

"What I understand is that one way or another you'll be gone. I'll do whatever it takes but you will be out of this house, soon. I can promise you that. And nothing will make me stop until I accomplish that. Now, please if you don't mind I'll like to be alone In my room"

"I don't know Martha I thought it would be easy but it's not" I tell her while we're drinking coffee.

"Look Blake, you're the first female to enter this house and last more than a day well besides Martha, in over 2 years" Bruno says.

"But why don't they like me?"

"Firstly, they're kids and are jerks. Secondly, they aren't used to seeing their dad all happy. Thirdly, they don't want anyone to replace their mother" Martha said.

"Isn't their dad always happy?"

"No, since the day Mrs. Dolan passed away he's been really tough on the kids. They all haven't had a proper conversation in years, he haven't laughed or smiled in a very long time. It seems unbelievable because Mr.Dolan was truly an amazing person but he changed so much over the years"

Once the kids came back from school they all went to change out of their uniform and then came in the kitchen to eat what Martha made.

"So, how was school?" I ask

"Amazing!" Alex replied

"Shut up, you liar!" Chris shouts

"What'd you guys do now?" Bailey asked them and they start laughing "Well Alex tried to ask out this girl but she said no, because he's ugly" Chris explains and they all laugh at Alex

"Wait, why are you laughing?" Cameron asked Chris

"Because it's funny" Chris replied

"You're basically laughing at yourself because you and Alex are identical" He says and now they all laugh at Chris "Okay, why are you asking girls out? Aren't you like 8?" Xavier says

"And shouldn't you mind your own business?" Alex shot back

"Okay Alex no disrespecting your brother" I interfere

"Mind your own business nanny" Aaliyah snapped. I swear this kid is pushing my buttons

"Aaliyah I better not hear you talk to Blake like that ever again, understood?" We all look by the door and there stood Mr.Dolan

"Why should I listen to you? And what a miracle that you're here this early" Aaliyah snapped once again. Everyone's eyes widen including Mr.Dolan's

"And who do yo think you are speaking to me like that?" Mr. Dolan sternly asked causing all the kids to say "ooo's"

"Whatever" She says and rolls her eyes

"Now apologize to Blake" He said.

"No, no there's no need f-"

"Now Aaliyah" He demanded completely ignoring and cutting me off. She looks at me and mouths a 'sorry' I nod 

"I didn't hear" He says

"I'm sorry. Happy?"

"Go to your room Aaliyah, I'm not in the mood for your attitude anymore. You're grounded for 2 weeks and don't even think about going to that party nor trying to apologize to me so you can go" she groans and sends me a glare before leaving.

"I apologize for her attitude Blake, she rarely acts like that I don't know what's gotten into her"

"It's all good Mr.Dolan" I say and he gives me small smile. He pecks Sky's cheek and sits down where Aaliyah was sitting .
