With tons of convincing his mom, the guys, and Kosmic, Luke was finally able to get everyone out to the house he grew up in.
His mom along with the other 5SOS mum's joined their powers and made a big dinner for all of them.
Ian and Mason hired a driver to take them to the house because they didn't trust them getting there on their own. When Ian probably just covinced Mason his own clients were not to be trusted and should be treated like teenagers looked up in their rooms without windows and food.
They pulled into the driveway and Luke was hit with a sudden state of nostalgia. He felt as if he could cry but he blinked back the tears once he saw his mom running towards him with open arms. He melted in her warm embrace and he didn't want to let go. He was afraid if he let go she would disappear.
"Oh, I missed my boy so much!" She squeezed him before pecking his cheek.
"I missed you too, mum."
Luke was too concentrated on his mom that he hadn't realized the other mom's had run out as well, sharing hugs with their sons.
"Introduce us to your friends!" Anne, Ashton's mom, encouraged.
"Right, this is Kosmic, the band we're touring with for the year." Ashton began naming off each person as he pointed to them individually.
They watched as Kosmic shared handshakes with all the mom's, all but Haze who shared hugs with them.
Kosmic appeared to get along very well with the 5SOS mom's, yes, including Loch. Loch took a special liking to Michael's mom, Karen. He hadn't shut his mouth since starting a conversation with Karen. This was the most any of the 5SOS guys had heard him speak in two months.
Dinner was spent gossiping about everyone's latest adventures in between a couple of laughs.
After dinner they sat in the backyard, watching the sunset and continuing conversations that hadn't ended over dinner.
Whenever there was a chance to be back home Luke always took advantage of just dissolving into the moments and listening to every chat going on around him and trying to memorize exactly what the atmosphere was like in that moment, so when he was lonely on the road he could think back and remember more perfect times in his life.
Ashton, Anne, and Haze sounded like they were planning a trip to Texas, somewhere Anne had been dying to visit. It was adorable to watch Ashton, watching Haze and Anne taking such ease into each other right away. He looked relieved that they were getting along well. No one would be surprised if Haze and Ashton ended up together somewhere along the way of the tour, they were indeed inseparable. They were like the Greek myth that people were born with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces. Zeus found them to be too powerful so he split them, thus making us search for our other halves. Ashton and Haze were indeed soul mates. They laughed at the same things, their laughter in fact ranged from different types of laughs, they were so much alike in habits and personalities that it was almost terrifying. The only place they differentiated were the instruments they played, but even with that, they could well be on the road to make magical music that could cure cancer and end world hunger.
That made Luke think, what if Andy wasn't exactly Arabella's other half? What if Luke was her destined other half? It wasa pretty selfish, far-fetched thought but it could be possible.
Luke turned his attention to Liz. She stood having a deep conversation with Arabella, the Arabella. The sunset hung perfectly behind Arabella, illuminating her fair skin and her light brown hair. She looked like some sort of god sent angel that he never wanted to take his eyes off of. It was sickening how Luke was noticing these insignificant details about her like the light freckles the dusted upon her nose and how her eyes lit up when she was interested in what someone was saying...He was falling for a girl he barely knew and he was sure his mom was too.
