Arabella was sleep deprived and she had spent the last 12 hours possibly hallucinating. She was in the middle of her solo song, taking her usual glances at the crowd, and she thought she had seen Andy in the crowd, singing along to the old Beatles tune.
She lied on my back, staring at the blackened ceiling above, wishing it would collapse and put her out of this deprivation so she could sleep. The circles under her eyes were probably five shades away from being as dark as the ones Haze inherited at birth.
She asked Ian about getting melatonin tablets so she could rest but he had a strict rule about vitamins in other countries entering their bodies, he said it was for their own good but he was truly paranoid.
Luke's soft snoring next to her was the only soothing sound that almost made her eyelids heavy, almost.
Luke was capable of passing out like it was habit. Sleep was supposed to be a habit, a habit that Arabella seemed to have not developed in the 18 years of her life.
She cautiously got out of bed, making sure to not wake Luke. She grabbed the room key and her phone, shoving both in the pocket of her sweatpants. She rolled up the sleeves of her top and quietly opened the door, padding her way in the hallway.
Once the door was closed she walked three rooms down, where Jax was staying.
"Hey." Jax waved her in.
Ricky, Loch, and Haze were already cuddled up together cozily in Jax's bed, she instantly jumped on the three, pulling them into a hug.
"Oh, how I've missed your famous hugs, Arabella!" Loch exaggerated.
She finally let go, squeezing herself between Ricky and Loch, then feeling the space on the bed get smaller as Jax was pushed up against Haze, shoving her into Ricky's shoulder. No one looked like they were bothered by this random five-way cuddle session. As a matter of fact, these cuddle sessions started the same time the band was completed, they started as a joke but then turned into something they all grew to love, because it allowed them in one another's personal space and feel the vulnerability of each other, that made them grow closer together as a band. Arabella was so happy to be lying here in this cuddle, feeling a sense of completeness that she hadn't felt all month-long.
"This adventure has been odd..." Ricky hid his face in the crook of Arabella's neck, rubbing his thick curls against her skin to make her laugh.
"Odd? How so?" Arabella chuckled, pushing Ricky's head away from her neck.
"I feel like it has pushed us away from each other." Ricky began twisting the ends of Ara's hair around his finger. "It used to be just us against the world and now we only see each other on stage or briefly in interviews."
Ricky was right. The five of them had not come together to exactly enjoy this roller coaster as a group; Arabella was usually off trying to make the world believe she was in love with Luke and she had no clue what the other four were off doing to stay out of trouble.
"We're together now, yeah?" Loch slapped Ricky's hand away from Arabella's hair when he noticed her wince in pain because Ricky had tugged a little too hard for her liking. "We just have to take advantage of every moment we have together."
They did just that. They picked out a weird German movie to watch together, it was only hilarious because they didn't understand a single word they were saying.

"Go away," Jax yawned.
Arabella blinked open her eyes, adjusting to the sudden change of lighting. They were all stretched out on the mattress. She let out a small chuckle before she was disturbed by a banging on the door.
"Shit." Arabella untangled her limbs from everyone else's, fixing herself up before she opened the door.
"I've called all your phones at least ten times and I've been knocking for like 30 minutes!" Ian held his phone and his signature little black book. He pushed right passed Arabella, bumping her shoulder. "You guys have a press conference with 5SOS in two hours, get up, get dressed, and be in the lobby with your luggage." He nudged everyone awake. "We're heading straight to Hamburg after the last show here in Berlin tonight."
The other four stared at him, still in an incoherent state.
"LETS MOVE!" He shouted.
They all scrambled.
