December 10, 1984 - London - Gemma's Birthday Party

Kosmic arrived at KOKO without any time to spare for a sound check, seeing as their flight from Tampa, Florida to London was delayed so many fucking times. But they made it to the birthday party, sparing only 30 minutes for their hand-picked crew members to set up their stuff while they energized themselves backstage and hid away from everyone, careful not to ruin the surprise.

The only thing sort of ruining the experience was that Luke, Calum, Ashton, and Michael were invited too. A break from them sounded nice. It was quite stuffy to Kosmic to have 5SOS everywhere with them

"Glad you guys could make it." For once Harry didn't sound like a cocky bastard. He sounded genuinely grateful they were here.

"Wouldn't miss it for a thing, Styles." Haze shot him a winked before pulling off her top and shuffling her bag for a different one.

Harry's eyes widened and he instantly turned around. Such a gentleman.

Their set went off perfectly. Gemma was surprised as one could get. Haze even unexpectedly pulled Gemma up on stage to sing a song with them. The others were all pretty confused by the gesture, but they went along with it for many purposes.

"Luke," Arabella shouted over ABBA's set. "We have to leave. Ian wants us at the hotel to rest."

"I'll walk you out to the car." He nodded, setting his glass of water down on the table him and the guys reserved.

They shoved through the dancing people until the couple found the exit.

"You did a good performance." He complimented, kissing her lips. "I love you."

"Arabella!" Ian shouted from the van. "Come on!"

"I love you too, Lucas." She gave him one last kiss before getting in the van.

She leaned her head against the window, yawning in the London nigh. She was so tired, she could sleep through the remainder of the tour and not feel bad about it. The tour was just about over. Just a few more months and everything would be back to normal. At least, for some time until the second album's tour began. But Kosmic looked forward to down time back in Frost and catching up with their families.

Arabella began planning out everything she'd do with her parents when she got home. Maybe she could take them on a nice vacation. Luke could come too. It would be the perfect relaxation. Everyone she loved the most around her.

Maybe she could start writing again and not feel stressed about finishing an album this time around.

Maybe she could go to Sydney for a few weeks to get to know Luke's family better. God, there was so much to look forward to. She felt so thankful to get this far in the tour.

She listened to the song on the radio and Loch singing along. Interrupting that was Jax, Ricky, and Haze laughing and shouting at each other. All of this going on was strangely soothing and all of this was the last thing she remembered before everything went black.
