September 1, 1984 - London

Haze had been exceptionally peculiar since Leeds. She was closed off, quiet, and very moody unlike the hyper, talkative, happy Haze everyone was used to. Arabella tried getting her to talk, she was lucky enough to get a blank stare from her. Her eyes held no life, she looked like a zombie almost. She laughed at nothing now. Arabella had asked Luke to talk to Ashton to see what was up. If Haze wasn't talking to the band, she'd surely talk to Ashton. But Luke hadn't seen Ashton all day.

"Maybe they both finally realized that they're perfect for each other but they're still in denial." Luke shrugged. He brought Arabella out to an Italian restaurant that he claimed was his favorite place to eat in London.

"Haze wouldn't take that this hard though, there has to be something further going on." Haze never let things bother her to the point where she seemed disconnected from the rest of the world. Arabella looked out the big glass window to her right, locking eyes with a paparazzo and giving him a small smile as he took photos of Luke and her.

"Just pray she comes around soon."

She need Haze to come around within today because She couldn't have her being in this state with a new music video to film tomorrow.

Haze sighed as she walked down the hotel's hallway, dragging her finger on the wall. She had just left Loch's room, he gave her some big speech on how she needed to get over whatever the fuck was bothering her and liven up some because apparently she was bringing the rest of the band down. She listened, she swore she did even if she didn't speak to him and even if she just stared at him blankly the whole time. He asked if she had confided in Ashton but she just shrugged. She hadn't spoken to Ashton since Madrid and She didn't plan on speaking to him anytime soon. She couldn't even confess to her best friends what was going on with her because she was precisely still in denial about it even if she was physically feeling it.

She pulled out the room key from the pocket of her jacket.

"Is this Ashton's room?" A familiar pastel purple-haired girl sweetly asked, she startled her, causing her to drop the card on the floor. Haze looked at her where she stood across the hall. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, love!" She bent over, picking up the card and handing it to me. She warily took the item from her, giving a forced smile.

"I can't seem to remember Ashton's room number, I'm such an absent-minded idiot." She playfully slapped her hand on the side of her head, giggling at herself. Her lips were shaded in with a bright red lipstick you could see from a mile away.

"If it's Irwin you're speaking of, then you're in front of the right room." Haze pointed to the door behind her.

"Thank you!" The girl dipped her head. "You look oddly familiar. Do I know you from somewhere?"

Couldn't this girl just fuck off?

"I'm the lead guitarist of Kosmic, I don't know?" She heaved a sigh.

"Haze Wilde?" Her expression fading into an excited one as she put together who Haze was.

"That's me."

"I'm a huge fan of your voice, well, I'm a huge fan of your everything. You're so amazing!" She gushed, almost making Haze sick to her stomach or maybe she was feeling sick to her stomach for another reason. "I'm Gemma by the way, Gemma Styles." She held out her hand after introducing herself.

"Nice to meet you." She would've hugged this girl in any other situation but she wasn't feeling a hug at the moment so she shook her hand. "If you don't mind, I'm gonna head into my room now. I'm tired." I couldn't mask the annoyed tone in my voice.

"Okay, hopefully I'll see you around!" She smiled at Haze and closed the door to Ashton's room.

"Can you please explain what the hell is going on with Haze?" Ashton stopped by Arabella and Luke's room for a quick chat and now was the time to confront him.

"Hell if I know." He scoffed, drumming his fingers against the desk. "She hasn't spoken to me since Barcelona, I've just assumed she took Jax's incident hard and didn't want to talk to anyone but after he got better she still didn't speak to me."

Sure, Haze took the situation with Jax hard but that didn't stop her from properly functioning. Something more than she was letting on was going on and it frustrated Arabella that she wasn't opening up to anyone. She would explode if she kept it bottled up inside. She was close to mental breakdown and Arabella knew it.
