Elizabeth could barely sleep that night, nightmares haunted her unconsciousness mind. They were filled with James, she could practically feel his tongue again poking through into her mouth, his large strong hands touching her face, forcing her to remain still.
Suddenly his hands become unbearably hard, the bones in her face begin to crack, they are being crushed by him and yet he continues to rape her mouth with his lips.
She cries but her cries are silent, her eyes widen to catch his dead gaze.
His eyes have been open the whole time as he continued to unmercifully kiss her, his beautiful maple eyes that she once found peace in have changed to a bright blood red.
Finally his black pupils dilates and his whole eye becomes back, covering the whites and his brow furrows in anger.
She hears his voice in her head clear as day and loud as thunder.
"You're mine"
She thrashes around trying to break free but his grip is firm and hard. The pain is excruciating as he begins to break her face, first her cheek bones cave in, then her temples and finally her sight goes black and she wakes up in a panicked sweat.
Throughout the night she has similar horrid nightmares, making her toss in her sleep until finally the dawn rises and her mind is so tired she falls asleep peacefully into darkness.
"Elizabeth?" her uncle knocks on her bedroom door unaware the girl barely slept the night. His deep knocking rouses her from her bed, she shot up nervously her eyelids fluttered with lingering sleep.
"Y-yes?" she stammered and rubbed the dizziness from her eyes.
Her uncle opened the door and poked his head inside, "Sorry dear, it's 11:45 aren't you hungry?" he questioned examining his niece. Her hair was voluminous and messy from tossing and turning all night; her green eyes had lost some of their shine.
He frowned at her in concern. "Are you alright?"
"I'm okay," she shrugged her shoulders and smiled so as to not worry her uncle.
"What's that smell?" she sniffed, distracting her concerned uncle to the smell of breakfast coming from downstairs.
Rohan smiled in relief, "Diana made some thick waffles this morning, she left several."
"I'll be right down," Elizabeth slid off her high queen sized bed and slipped on her slippers. Her uncle closed the bedroom door to give her privacy. She entered her bathroom and washed her face and mouth. Looking through the mirror she noticed the dark circles in under her eyes from the lack of sleep.
But she did not want to think about the reason behind her nightmares.
She shook her head and forced herself to smile and think of other happier thoughts before going down to the kitchen. Wrapping herself in the light purple silk robe her uncle had gotten her, she went down the large stairs with their elegant black metal designs and hints of gold detailing.
Diana, their housemaid, was in the large white marble kitchen cleaning up.
Her uncle sat in the dinning room, on the long glass table he had laid out before him a plate of waffles, side of eggs, coffee, orange juice and of course his tablet reading his daily news. Diana had served a plate of food similar to Rohan's on his right side near the window.
"Thank you Diana, it looks great." The girl complimented the housemaid's cooking before plotting herself down next to her uncle.
"Do you have any plans today?" Rohan asked without removing his eyes from his tablet, he lifted the fine china cup holding the burning hot coffee.
