I was beyond thrilled that I found out Susan, the crazy lady, was my great aunt. Even if she was a little crazy. My grandmother and her were sisters!! Just like me and all my older siblings. I loved hearing the stories she had just told me about her and my grandma. They seemed like they weren't only sisters, but best friends. I wondered what other stories Susan has to tell. Before I could ask, my thoughts were interrupted by the blonde girl's voice.

"Enough with all the sappy stuff." We all laughed at her comment. She really was funny.

"I have something important to tell you," she said with a look of seriousness. Susan looked at the blonde girl questioningly.

"Are you sure you want tell them? What if it's to soon?" The blonde girl looked back at Susan with determination and reason.

"Yes I'm sure. They need to know. Especially Daisy" ok. Now I was really worried. What in the world is going on here? Are they trying to give me a heart attack from all this stress? I mean seriously.

"Daisy," the blonde girl started, there's something you need to know." Like I didn't already know this, but I still leaned in close to show my interest. There was a long moment of silence which was almost immediately interrupted by a quick, "Oh, first my name is Jade. Ya'll might kinda need to know that before I tell you." She had a brief laugh after that. I just rolled my eyes. "Ok, I'll just get this over with. I'm your cousin. Surprise!" Wait...what? "Well...actually I'm your second cousin, but still. We're family!"

"She's my granddaughter," Susan confirmed with a look of embarrassment. Susan looked at the blonde girl...well, Jade, with a look of disgust. "Really, you couldn't think of a better way to put that."

"Sorry," Jade answered with a look of embarrassment. "I'm not very good at dealing with the whole feelings things. Also, if you haven't noticed, I'm not the nicest person you'll ever meet. It's just not in my DNA." This news barely bothered me, considering all the surprising things I already found out today.

"Are you sure about that? I mean, we share DNA." She looked at me with a look of shock as if she couldn't believe what I was saying to her right now. "I'm nice aren't I?" Jade's mouth dropped open. I'm not sure if it was because I wasn't shocked that she was my family and didn't pass out again or if it was because she was insulted by my comment. Maybe a little bit of both.

I looked over at Gabe. He looked just as shocked as Jade. Maybe even a little bit more then Jade. I just smiled at him, turned away, and said, "I've had enough of all these big reveals for today. Maybe we could do something else?"

"Of course little missy. Whatever you'd like," Susan said.

"Hmm... I don't know. I just know I'm done with this."

"How about we go get some ice cream," Gabe offered, "That is what we were going to do anyways...right D-girl?"

"That's a good idea."

"Aww! You guys were gonna go on a little date!" Jade exclaimed with a sly smile. She knew how much I hated it when she teased me about things. Especially the nonexistent relationship between me and Gabe. I looked at her and said, "stop doing that," and punched her arm. Not in a hurtful way, I mean, we are family after all. It was nothing more then a playful punch. I looked over at Susan and Gabe and said, "let's go."

"Is it alright if we teleport again? It's the fastest way to get there," Susan questioned.

"Yeah," I simply said with a smile. Susan wrapped her arms around me and Gabe, Jade jumped onto Susan's back, and off we went.

Lots of things had happened within the time frame of meeting Susan and now. I was reunited with my best friend from my past, I learned I had an aunt and a second cousin, and most importantly my aunt can teleport! However, I knew that no matter what happened next, the bond between us four could never be broken. We're all family. Well, me and Gabe are only friends. But we are still really close. Anyways, back to my point.

Nothing could ever tear us apart. We're family after all and family sticks together no matter what. At least, I hope we will.

Hey readers! I hope you've enjoyed chapter 13 of my story! What do think of Jade joining the family? I know I think she's a great addition to the family, even if she does pick on Daisy and Gabe a lot. What do you think will happen when they get ice cream considering all she's been through already?
