On the way to the movie theater, I saw a lot of weird things. I've just realized I forgot to tell you what season it it. It's the end of summer! Summers are very brutal in Arizona. It's basically a desert here.
Anyway, I walked past a lot of cacti. Don't worry I didn't touch any;) And a lot of pretty scenery. It was only a few minutes before I got to the movie theater. I walked up to the door and just as I was about to walk inside, someone near me said, "Hello there little missy!" I turned toward the voice.
It was an old lady dressed in black. I soon realized it was the crazy old lady! "It's a pleasure to see you again!" I suddenly felt the urge to tell her about the note.
"I lost the note," I said very subtly. I felt very ashamed myself. I never explain something I did wrong if someone doesn't ask me about it. It doesn't fit with the fact that I fight, I don't flee and give in. That's just inviting the person to get mad at you, get you in trouble, and maybe even ground you. If they're your parents that is.
"Oh little missy, I know that already. I saw you search at lunch today for it but not find it."
"You're not mad at me?"
I'm only disappointed. But not really because you couldn't have just dropped it. You had it tucked deeply into your pocket. I think someone took it from you."
"But no one had access to my pockets all day. You really think someone could've taken it?"
"Oh little missy, just think about it. You'll figure it out. You really do ask too many questions." And before I could say or ask anything else, she disappeared in her cloud of black smoke.
"Well that was weird" Who could have possibly taken the note? I wondered.
Before I had time to answer that question, someone said, "What was weird?" I turned around to see Lindsey and Michael.
"Umm... Nothing." I let out real fast.
"You can explain later. Come on, stop staring at the bench and get to the movie!" Lindsey exclaimed. I'd have a lot of explaining to do, I thought.
We went inside and I asked Lindsey what movie we were going to watch. "I'll tell you when we are in our seats."
"Won't I see when we go in what the movie is above the door?"
"Oh my...! I didn't even think of that." She looked at Michael with worry on her face. Michael looked back in concern. I guess he's a lot more caring then I thought. "Well I guess you'll know then but you have to promise you won't run away once you see the title."
"Why would I run away? You know the type of person I am. If I had to chose fight or flight, as the old saying says, I'd chose fight!"
"That's right! You know what, I'm really out of it today," Lindsey said admittedly. It's a good thing after the movie I'm going home to do nothing."
"Oh... Well then I guess my plans for you and I tonight will have to wait," Michael suddenly said.
"Well in that case, as long as what ever we are doing doesn't involve thinking, I'm fine."
"Don't worry, it doesn't involve much," Michael replied.
"Good," Lindsey said back.
"Ok, here's the door," Lindsey said. We'd arrived at the door to the room of the movie which meant the title was right there. I was afraid to look at the sign, but then I thought, I'm Daisy Lillian Meadow and I'm not afraid of anything. I know my last name makes my name even funnier because daisies are in a meadow, but there's nothing I can do about it. I have had enough with the group on the bus making fun of my first name, so it's a good thing they don't know my last name.
I looked at the sign and I read the bright glowing letters. I had to stand there for a minute to make sure my eyes were seeing what the sign really said. I didn't believe my eyes but of course they were right.
Once I realized that what I was seeing was really there, I could have died. I could of curled up right there on the carpeted floor and died. I was finished, over, done, and through with my life.
I stared at the sign for a minute and once I'd gotten my bearings, I remembered that I was Daisy Lillian Meadow and I could get through anything. Now you're probably wondering what was on the sign in front of me and I'll tell you.
The sign read in big, bright, red letters...

Note: Now you know why Daisy wasn't happy when she found out what movie was premiering. What did you think of this turn of events? If you're confused, go back and read my second chapter if you haven't. It will explain things;) I really hope you enjoyed this chapter!:D
