MEERA'S POV
How should I wear this? It appears so beautiful when it's hanging over that hanger .
' wear this , I got matching tie for it . You will look ravishing in it ' he said and left from our room.
It's been two hours and I got no clue about how to get into this dress, moreover the only lady other than me is Asha aunty. I curse my studies for preventing me to explore latest fashion.
I never wore these type of dresses as I can't run or work in them during surgeries with eyes concentrating on my legs rather than the dying patient
I wish Khushi was here! She is damn dumb like me but knows how to crack this mystery. I just hope she reaches my reception in time .
I was in dilemma about this just when Arjun barged into room. I turned around startled and looked at him , he took long strides reaching me and hugged me tight. I was taken aback .
" What happened?" I asked him placing my hands on his shoulders .
" Where were you after I left you here ?" He asked me still holding me tight .
" I..I was here only , actually f.figuring out how to wear this dress " I said stuttering a bit . God! It's so embarrassing for me . I am sure he will make fun of me now .
" Hmmm" he replied nuzzling his head in crook of my neck .
" What happened Arjun? Why are you so tensed " I asked lowly.
" Now I am not" he replied.
" But you were when you entered our room" I said trying to know the reason behind his sudden arrival .
" I got a voice mail , a gift from unknown person " he replied pushing me back slowly, making me walk back until my back hit the wall .
" Oh " was all I could reply.
He held my waist lifted my crop top few inches up and started making patterns still nuzzling his head in crook of my neck.
" It had your voice . And attachment of your photos while you were shopping somewhere " he said nibbling my skin .
" What was I saying in it? Did I look good in those pics? " I asked him hurriedly.
He stopped whatever he was doing to my body , pulled back a bit and stared at me wide eyed . I missed his touch and pouted involuntarily.
He chuckled , pecked my lips and went back to his previous position still chuckling against my skin .
" Out of everything you are asking me how were you in those pics? Meera someone unknown person sent me that means it is a threat not a gift ! Do you get it now?" He asked holding me very close to him , pushing me against the wall and started kissing my collarbone .
I mentally smacked my head , I can never grow up !
" So what was in that voice mail? " I asked him trying not to react to his ministrations .
" You were shouting for my help and calling my name " he said seriously.
" Well you came at last! " I answered sarcastically.
" Sarcasm noted" he said smiling a bit .
" Speaking of it why are you wearing this short shorts and a crop top ? Trying to tempt me?" He asked looking into my eyes .
" I...I no! I don't know how to get into that dress " I said blushing hard .
" I didn't mean that , you are not supposed to wear these clothes at home!" He said with a bit of irritation.
My anger rose , hell with him !now I can't even wear my own choice of clothes!
" And why is that?" I asked him angrily.
" Coz baby , my family stays here , mum and dad they won't mind but my brothers? They will oogle at you and I don't like anyone looking at you in anyway" he answered me .
" But your brothers are not perverts ! They are so nice " I said seriously.
" Yes they are . But I don't want them to see how sexy you are , it's for my eyes only " he said kissing me on my cheek.
" But .." I was cut off by him again .
" I wouldn't mind if you roam around naked in house only when we both are there . I would actually want you to welcome me home every time I return from office" he said kissing me on my lips .
I couldn't answer him back . He's talking dirty but I liked it.
" Maybe someday you can be lucky !" I said leaning back .
He laughed and stepped towards my dress .
" Now change your clothes and wear this I ll help you " he said opening the long zip at the back which I didn't see at all .
I went inside our washroom and came back asking for his help . When I entered our room , he already wore his suit and was doing his tie .
I didn't offer him to tie it coz I don't know anything.
He came near me, zipped me up and asked me to get ready.
Thank goodness! He didn't do anything more than that!
We quickly reached our destination and were welcomed with cameras flashing lights , people greeting us.
I had to stick with him all time coz of the looks I got from female single monsters. " Baby! I am all yours" he whispered once in a while when ever I held his hand tight throwing daggers at those monsters.
We had to dance, give thank you speeches and all the shit which appeared to be like a viva - voce exam for me.
None of friends, khushi or Aakash attended it. My brother stayed for half an hour until photos were clicked then left from there in hurry.
I couldn't ask him about khushi or why Aakash did not attend. It was all blur , party ended with people blessing us. Many were drunk to even acknowledge our presence .
It was no fun without my friends , I felt lonely. I wanted to just accompany my parents till they reach house as dad was driving. So me and arjun followed them .
As we entered our house , I could see my brother standing with someone beside him .
I came out and went near him trying to guess who it can be . As we all reached there ...
" We are married" my brother announced.
I was beyond shocked , there she was standing with my brother my very own best friend married to my brother.
They were holding hands and smiling brightly at us .
My parents hugged them and we both congratulated . I can sense that Khushi is somewhat distracted.
I went near her and whispered" I am sorry, I totally didn't know that he's going to propose to you. I hope you will forgive me for whatever happened yesterday at hospital"
" No Meera! I am in shock ! I never expected him to propose and marry me within half an hour !" She replied smiling widely.
Arjun came from behind and started talking with her and sid.
Life can be so exciting if we have right amount of people to spread madness!
