The moment I saw Demi, in her dress, my heart felt like it stopped. She looked so stunning, I couldn't stop smiling as I watched her walk toward me, a huge ass smile on her face that put mine to shame. I didn't take my eyes off of her as she made her way down the aisle. I was sure, as I felt my heart thump in my chest, that I wasn't making a mistake, right now. I knew I loved her. Without a doubt I knew this. Right now, here in this moment, I felt the love I had for Demi. I wasn't exactly convinced it was that head over heels, deeply in love, kind of feelings I had, but it was pretty close & I was confident I would have those kind of feelings one day. Or I'd figure out that I already had those feelings, but my fucked up heart & brain wouldn't let me realize it.
I wasn't even listening as my dad spoke to everyone, I was so enamored by the stunning woman that stood before me, holding my hands. Maybe it was the fact that she was wearing a wedding dress or the fact that she was pregnant, but I don't ever remember seeing her look more radiant than she did on our wedding day.
Demi dabbed at her tears, with the handkerchief she had with her. I squeezed her hand, finally hearing my dad, speak, telling me to repeat after him. "I Nick, take you Demi to be my wife, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live." I smiled at Demi, as I repeated everything my dad said. My smile was permanent on my face as Demi said the same vows to me. She even managed to stop crying, but her voice still shook & I thought it was adorable. It made me feel good though that she was so emotional. That gave me confirmation that she really loved me & wasn't marrying me just because she was pregnant.
The moment my dad said, "You may now kiss your bride," I felt a surge of excitement travel through my body. I put my hands on either side of her face, holding her like she was a piece of glass, as I brought our lips together. Our kiss was sweet but full of passion. Lots of snickers were heard among our friends & families as our kiss lingered a little too long. I didn't want to stop kissing her, but I did. "Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Nick Jonas." My dad bellowed out to the small crowd.
Demi & I walked through the intimate group, hand in hand as our guests blew bubbles. I pulled Demi into the kitchen & put my arms around her. "We did it." I said before I gave her a deep kiss.
"No turning back, now, Jonas." Demi said, breathing hard from the kiss.
Before I could respond we were surrounded by our friends & family, being congratulated & hugged, repeatedly. Since we got married in a backyard, it wasn't your typical reception. My mom hired a caterer, so we had a nice selection of food. After we ate, Demi & I had our first dance to Justin Timberlake's "Not a Bad Thing." It was one of Demi's favorites & it was a fitting song for her & I. We cut the cake after our first dance & Demi was ruthless with her piece. She shoved the cake into my face, up my nose & then smeared it all over my neck. I wanted to get her with my piece of cake, but she stuck her lower lip out & begged me not to. I didn't have the heart, especially since she was pregnant.
I was in the bathroom off my kitchen, getting ready to wash the cake off of me, when Demi came in & closed the door, smiling at me, seductively. "Are you lost or did you come to smash some more cake in my face?" I asked, smirking at her.
Demi came up behind me as I watched her in the mirror, a wet washcloth in my hand. Her hand came around & grabbed the washcloth, so I turned toward her. Mischief flashed in her eyes as she sat the washcloth on the counter & leaned toward me. She started licking the cake off my neck, sending goosebumps to spread over my skin. I shut my eyes, enjoying the feel of Demi's tongue on me, her warm breath adding to the tantalizing sensations. Demi grabbed my arms & pulled me a little, forcing me to sit on the toilet. She sat on my lap, holding tightly to my shoulders & bringing her face close to mine. With a sexy smile, she started kissing my lips, sucking the icing off & making me hard beneath her. I put my hands on her waist, pulling her closer to me. I was trying really hard not to rip her dress. Demi continued licking & sucking the cake residue off of me.
"You're driving me crazy & I really don't want to fuck you in this dress & get cum all over it." I murmured against her lips.
"I can take it off." She whispered.
I chuckled, tilting my head back. "It took you an hour to get in it & it takes like twenty minutes just to button it."
Demi sighed, smiling as she stared into my eyes. "Fine. But remember where we were when I finally get this dress off tonight." She kissed me again, then grabbed the washcloth off the counter. She started wiping the rest of the cake off of me. I watched her face as it changed from lust to adoration. "I can't believe we're married." Her top teeth came over her bottom lip as she gazed into my eyes. I smiled at her, clasping my hands behind her back. "I'm Mrs. Nick Jonas." She breathed, her eyebrows going up.
I leaned my head back a little. "Are you going to change your name?"
Demi tilted her head down a little as if she were shy all of the sudden. "Do you want me to take your name?" She asked in a quiet voice.
I grinned up at her. "It's tradition." Biting my lip, I pulled her against me. "But, you don't have to. You're famous & your name is famous, so I would understand if you wanted to keep your name."
Demi stopped wiping my face & neck, then threw the washcloth into the sink. "Can I think about it? I mean I can't change it until we go public anyway, right?"
"That's right." I smiled as I kissed her. "We should get back to our party."
Demi stood up & I took her hand & followed her out of the bathroom. We joined our guests & celebrated our nuptials with the most important people in our lives. It was an amazing night & so many times I'd catch myself watching Demi & thinking how lucky I was. I mean, I married my best friend. That's how it's supposed to be, right?
