Warmth on my face, woke me the day after my wedding. I opened one eye to see the sun beaming in from the open curtain. I groaned, squeezing my eyes shut & rolling over on my side. I took a deep breath & opened my eyes, now that the sun wasn't blinding me. The vision I saw before me was breathtaking. Demi was facing away from me & my gaze followed the gloriously perfect curve of her figure down to where the sheet just barely came over her upper thigh. My eyes feasted on her amazing ass & I had to touch it. I felt a tiny jolt of excitement, when my hand glided over her silky skin. I moved my body so I was pressing against her back & I slid my hand over her swollen middle. I nuzzled her hair, then her neck before my mouth left tiny kisses on her shoulder. It seemed to take a lot of kissing before she finally stirred. Her hand covered my hand on her belly, as she smiled, turning her head toward me.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you." I whispered into her ear.
"It's okay. I have to pee anyway." She replied, keeping her eyes closed & moving her hips back toward mine a little. I watched her bite her lip & moved my hand up to her chin to turn her mouth toward my face. I kissed her, tenderly, loving the way she sighed when our lips touched.
"You better go pee, so I can make love to you."
Her eyes snapped open & she grinned, broadly. "Are we going to leave the bedroom today?" She shimmied her body so she was on her back. I shook my head, slightly, smiling at her. "But it's so beautiful out. We should enjoy the sunshine before we're stuck on a bus for a month."
"It's supposed to rain, babe."
Demi lifted her head to look over my shoulder. "It's sunny." She chuckled.
"For now. I'm telling you it's supposed to rain the next two days." I insisted.
Demi narrowed her eyes at me as she got out of bed. I watched her naked body go into the bathroom, then I laid back on the bed. I took a deep breath then noticed the sun was gone now. It was actually really dark, outside. I smiled when I heard the faint rumble of thunder. I got out of bed & went to the balcony doors. I swung open the doors, so I could smell the air. Summer rain. I loved the smell of summer rain. My balcony had chest high cement walls surrounding it & I was up on a hill, so I could stand on my balcony naked & no one could see me. Unless they were in a helicopter or some other aircraft. I stood in the doorway, feeling the slight breeze that told me the rain was coming. I felt hands come around me from behind, making me smile, then I felt Demi's breasts pressed up against my back. The roundness of her stomach nudged my lower back & I felt her lips on my skin a moment later.
"I guess you were right. Now we gotta stay in bed all day." Demi said as she pressed her cheek against my shoulder blade.
I turned around & wrapped my arms around her waist. "We will have to eat. Gotta feed the baby & the Diabetic." I let out a laugh with my breath as I pressed my forehead to hers.
I watched Demi's face turn serious. "Can I ask you a question?"
"Of course. You can ask me anything." I answered, swaying us together.
Her eyes looked into mine with an intensity. "Did you have any doubts, at all, about marrying me? Like cold feet or anything?"
Shit. Did she know something? I swallowed, then cleared my throat, hoping that wasn't a dead giveaway. I shook my head as I lied to her face. "No. Not at all."
I wondered if she knew I was lying, because she said nothing for a minute. She just stared into my eyes, nibbling gently on her lip, her hands on my hips. "I'm glad." She smiled & looked down, giving me an opportunity to kiss her forehead. I felt bad for lying to her, but what good would it have done? It would have hurt her & would it have made a difference in anything? I was married to her now. I didn't see any good reason to be honest with her about the doubts I had the night before we got married. I wasn't having those doubts now. I was pretty sure they wouldn't return.
I heard the rain pelting the roof & I felt the mist on my skin. Demi squealed a little & I laughed. I took her hands in mine & pulled her out on the balcony as she screamed a little louder. "Nick! What are you doing?"
"Enjoying the first summer rain as a married man." I answered, loudly, as I pulled her close to me, while the rain came down hard on us. It let up, a little, a moment later, thankfully, So it didn't sting our skin, anymore. As our hair stuck to our foreheads, I grinned down at her. "I want to dance in the summer rain with my wife." I said before I kissed her salty lips. The rain made this moment romantic. It wasn't just a kiss. It was a moment. It was a moment I wouldn't forget. A moment that I would remember as an old man. My heart thumped in my chest as I kissed her, one hand holding hers, while the other one rested on the side of her protruding stomach. To make the moment even more special, even more memorable, my daughter decided to make her presence known by nudging my hand. Demi smiled against my kiss. "Okay, before you get sick, let's go get a warm shower." I said, pulling Demi into the room, then heading straight to the shower. I pleasured Demi in the shower before we washed ourselves up, then we headed to the kitchen to eat.
It did rain the next two days, which was fine with us. We were newlyweds, so we were fine staying indoors. We made love a lot, because that's what you do after you get married, & we even played in the rain a few more times. We had more clothes on, but it was kind of fun, either way. Something about summer rain made being together, outdoors, a little more romantic. Maybe it was the way the rain made Demi's thin shirts stick to her perky breasts or the way her hair stuck to her face. Maybe it was the way she had to lick her lips from the wetness dripping down her face. Maybe it was the way she squinted or blinked when she looked at me, to keep the rain out of her eyes. In any case, she looked sexy in the rain & she loved me when my hair was wet, so it was a win win.
After we'd get drenched in the rain, we'd come in the house & get a warm shower together, before settling in front of a fire for the night. It was the most relaxing couple of days I think either of us had ever spent together. We blocked out the world, turning off our phones, & pretended like it was just me & her & no one else. It was going to be the total opposite of that over the next month, while we were on tour, so we were enjoying this time together while we could. The world didn't know we were together, so we'd have to keep things quiet. We would only be able to show affection toward each other when we were alone on the tour bus or in a hotel room. We had decided to tell everyone who was touring with us, making sure that they all knew it was to be kept a secret. That way we wouldn't have to sneak around all the time.
I was lying in bed, the night before we were leaving for the tour, staring up at the ceiling. I heard Demi's quiet breathing, next to me, as she slept facing away from me. Her head rested on my bicep of my outstretched arm. I was enjoying this comfortable, roomy bed for one more night before I'd have to leave it for a month. I was enjoying the feeling of being a normal husband & wife, before the next morning we'd have to both slip off our wedding rings so the world wouldn't know our secret. I'd only had my ring on a few days & I felt it there, like it was extremely heavy. I wasn't used to wearing a ring, so I was still getting used to it. Just as I was starting to get used to it, I'd have to take it off for a month. I wondered if I would feel less married once I slipped it off my finger.
