Our Nemi special on E! was one of the highest rated shows in their history, which catapulted Demi & I into Power couple status. We were bigger than we ever thought imaginable after that & we did decide to do a reality series for E! It lasted three seasons & although, we hit some rough patches while we shot it, we managed to come out in the end, stronger than ever.

Demi & I both had careers that lasted a long time, thanks to our amazing fans. I continued to make music with my brothers & our band & eventually after a few years of working our asses off, we won a Grammy for one of our albums. That put us on the map as actual musicians who could be taken seriously and we were, finally. We collaborated with other artists & continued making music until we were all well into our middle ages.

Demi became one of the biggest divas in history, joining the likes of Madonna, Beyonce & Mariah. She changed the world in so many ways. I thought she was amazing, of course & I fell in love with her a little more every day that I was with her.

Aria became a big sister for the first time, when she was five. We had a little boy that Demi insisted on naming Nicholas Jerry Jonas Jr. He was called J.J., Jerry or Junior most of the time. I don't think anyone ever called him Nick. Sometimes he was Nicholas. Two years after Junior came along, we had another girl, we named Addison Patrice. Our life was pretty amazing for a while.

We'd been married almost fifteen years when Demi & I almost split up. I'm not even really sure what happened. We were both doing things with our careers that kept us busy & we didn't spend a whole lot of time together over a six month period of time. We drifted apart. We started fighting constantly, about anything & everything. Both of us were unhappy & we both almost cheated. We both stopped it before it got that far & then I just went to her one day & told her I didn't want to give up on our marriage. I knew we had to fix it & we both cried, realizing we both wanted the same thing. We had no idea where to start but we fixed it, eventually. It took a lot out of us, but it was worth the sacrifices since now we were forever.

Today, I'm at our 25th anniversary party, surrounded by hundreds of our family & friends. I'm watching Demi, who is about to turn 48 in a few weeks & she didn't look a day over 30. She was still stunning & worked very hard to keep her body in shape. We both were still pretty fit, working out together on a weekly basis. We enjoyed that time together & we enjoyed burning off calories in other ways, too. Now, I looked across the room at Demi, her brown, highlighted hair pulled up into a messy bun on the top of her head. Her blue dress hugged her curves, perfectly, still making my mouth water. She glanced at me as she talked to my mom & her mom & the smile that took over her face still made my heart skip a beat.

I scanned the room & saw our daughter, Aria, who just graduated from Juilliard this past spring, where she studied drama. She already had landed the lead in a new Broadway musical & her debut was later this summer. She was the spitting image of Demi, when Demi was in her 20's. She had the same brilliant smile & even laughed like her mom. She was single & very independent. I couldn't be happier about that.

J.J. was in his second year at NYU, studying news casting. He played football & was actually really good. He wanted to announce sports one day or get a job with ESPN. He looked like me, but he was a little more solid than I was. He was built like a brick house. He had my brown curly hair, my eyes & my mouth, so he was mistaken for me quite often. Most people could tell he was my son right away. I was definitely a proud NYU dad & Demi & I both tried to go to all of J.J.'s games. Demi usually stands up & shouts at all of his games & she's louder than everyone.

Addison just graduated from high school & was starting Juilliard in the fall to study music. She was our songbird. She wrote music, could play every instrument you handed her & she sang like an angel. Addy had Demi's smile & my eyes & her hair was brown & wavy. All of our kids were gorgeous. Addy started dating a young man in her senior year of high school & I actually liked him. He was a good kid & ambitious & most importantly, he supported Addy in everything she did. I didn't know if they would last or what would happen, but if they stayed together, I'd be happy.

Addy came up to me, smiling like she was about to say something cute. She had Demi's personality, but my desire for perfection. She really was the best of both of us. "I see you watching mom." She snickered.

I put my arm around her shoulder & kissed her head. "What can I say? I'm a lucky guy marrying such a hottie."

Addy rolled her eyes & laughed. "Yea, Dad. You're a lucky man. And I hope Adam always looks at me the way you look at mom."

"Me, too, sweetie."

"You know I think the Guinness book people are outside. I'm pretty sure you & mom set a record being married 25 years in Hollywood." Addy laughed, sounding like her mom. Both of our girls laughed like their mom. I had no idea it would be inherited, but there it was.

"Cute. I guess it helps when you marry your best friend."

"Then I better marry Adam because he's my best friend." Addy smiled up at me.

I shook my head. "No, not for a long time."

Addy smirked as she looked away, watching the crowd. She started laughing when she saw Adam, her boyfriend, dancing with her brother. J.J. definitely didn't care about dancing in front of people like I did. I had to laugh at them, too. I smiled as I continued to watch all the people that meant the world to me. I was blessed beyond belief & could not have asked for a better life.

Demi & I moved to New York about ten years into our marriage. We got tired of the Hollywood scene, especially trying to raise kids in it. We were fortunate enough that we could fly back & forth to L.A. whenever we needed to. Living in New York was perfect for us as well, because the kids could enjoy the theater side of the entertainment business. They all did plays when they were younger & I even did some more roles when I was given the opportunity.

Right before Demi got pregnant with Junior, her & I did an album together & did a mini tour, which was fun. It wasn't something we would want to do again, but it fulfilled that need we had to create something together. We were great as a married couple, but we wanted to keep our careers as separate as we could.

Life with Demi has been amazing just as I knew it would be. We were inseparable now & forever. We had so much to look forward to. We were still doing things we loved. Demi was writing more books, really getting into the author part of her. She was still doing music on her own & with other artists she admired. I was producing & writing for artists all the time. We were looking forward to growing old & enjoying grandchildren. We were excited about our lives & about our future. Life was definitely good in the end.

I smiled as Addy walked off to be with her boyfriend & then I saw Demi watching me again. I walked over to her & put my arms around her waist as hers went around my neck. She was there alone at the moment, so I kissed her mouth, quickly. "25 years, babe. Can you believe it?" She grinned as her hand patted my chest.

"I can, actually. I have loved every minute I have known you." I smiled then kissed her forehead. "It's you & me til the end, my love. You're stuck with me."

Demi chuckled, her hands playing in my hair. "And I am the luckiest woman in the entire world. Thank you for loving me, Nicholas Jerry Jonas."

I cupped my hands on the side of her face & looked deep into her eyes. "Thank you for making it so easy, Demetria Devonne Lovato Jonas." I kissed her smile, letting my kiss linger, a little, as I thanked God, in my head, for everything he had given me.
