Third Person POV

"No! You did!" Alex said, giggling her heart out and taking another sip of wine.

"Well, I helped." Kara smiled, happy to have Mon-El back sitting next to her. "Technically she is the one who did all the work in defeating that monster."

"Well, I am a badass. But, I think that is it. All that has happened while you were gone. From saving the world to, well, saving the world." Alex frowned, somehow tears were forming in her eyes, even though they had been having such a great night.

"What?" Mon-El sighed.

"There is one other thing that we never told you."

"Alex, I will tell him when I am ready." Kara couldn't look at Mon-El, afraid of what he would think of her keeping a secret this big from him.

"Have you heard of Arakmuraya?" Alex said and Kara cringed.

"Yeah, my mother spared a man only because she knew he would die without treatment anyway." Kara looked at him, he had a look of worry in his eyes.

"Well, Kara had it pretty severe. To the point where no treatments were working and we were told that we only had a month left. Luckily, a Meta came along and basically created the cure out of thin air."

"It is more like medication if you ask me." Kara spat out.

"What do you mean?" Mon-El grabbed Kara's hand for comfort and this made her relax.

"I have to stay in a hospital overnight once a month so they can give me the 'cure' again." It sucked having to tell Mon-El the truth. Kara thought she could keep it from him.

"Now I am here, to help you through it. I love you."

"I love you, Mon-El."

Kara POV (Three months later. (Huge time skip because I couldn't be bothered writing the scene)

Three months had passed since I lost Lena to get Mon-El back. It still broke my heart to think that she sacrificed her own life because she knew that he is the only person I ever really loved. It made me sick that her own mother was the one to press the button that destroyed L-Corp with Lena and me still inside. I hated the fact that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find her body under all the rubble. She was standing right next to me when it collapsed, how could she just go missing?

"Kara?" I felt Mon-El's hand brush my hair away from my face. I opened my eyes and to my surprise, a familiar figure was standing before me. It took me a moment to realise who it was. I broke down in tears when it finally hit me.

"Lena!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. I used my powers to fly over quickly and hug her as tight as I could without hurting her. My fragile Lena. How is she here?

"But how?" Mon-El looked as relieved as I was. If only he knew about us, the relationship Lena and I had before she supposedly died.

"I am not sure. I woke up under a heap of rubble. I didn't even have a scratch on me. I looked around for Kara but she was gone. Somehow I ended up at Cadmus, my mother kept me in a cell. Using video footage of her torturing Kara to get information out of me. I didn't know at the time that it was pre-recorded video and that you were home, safe. I figured it out eventually but I don't remember how I got out."

"So, you are okay?"

"Yeah, I am fine. Are you? You weren't exactly in the best shape when I last saw you."

"Yeah, I have a cure." She smiled and jumped up and down.

"Oh My God! Kara that is amazing. Are you cured? You are fine now?"
