Dinner Guest

Alex POV

"Dinner was supposed to be at my house but it was a mess so we reorganised everything and are going to have it at yours and Lena's place," I said to my little sister. It looked like she was listening, I mustn't have gotten enough sleep last night. "Kara, you should see Alura's dress for tonight, it is gorgeous. Not to brag, but I picked it out myself!" I laughed at myself and stood up. "Anyway, I have to go now. Dinner is in a few hours so I want to get a mission in before Maggie and I get there. I love you!" I kissed her forehead and left the room, about to get ready for my next mission.

"Danvers! Are you ready?" Maggie ran to me and we hugged and kissed quickly.

"I thought we were leaving in a few hours."

"I want to get there early, we have a surprise for you. Lena and I need to show you something." She had an ominous tone of voice, making me scared and excited at the same time.

We arrived at Lena and Kara's house. I opened the door and nearly fainted when I saw Kara standing there, talking to Lena. She turned and ran to me, hugging me tightly.

"I know I am not her, but Lena and Mags thought it would be nice to have me here for Thanksgiving." She said, still hugging me.

"Wait, are you..."

"From another universe. Almost completely Parallel, apart from the 'me being in a coma' thing."

"Earth 90?"

"No, 73 actually. One thing is different on my Earth, the Luthors don't exist."

"Doesn't that mean a lot is different?"

"Kind of, actually, yeah." She giggled with that infamous giggle that made my heart skip a beat. I suddenly noticed the tears streaming down my face, I hadn't known I was crying until just now.

"I'm sorry, just hearing your voice..."

"I get it, I haven't seen J'onn in years so hearing his voice was a similar shock." 

"How long have you been on this earth?"

"Only a few hours."

We ate with our dinner guest and started the games.

"Oh, I know!" Lena shouted while Kara was trying to act something out on Heroes and Villains charades. "It is Flash!"

"Yeah!" Kara chuckled. We all caught the laughter, it burst throughout the room and Kara jumped onto the couch. Watching intently as it was Maggie and my turn. 

Maggie jumped up and grabbed a card, giggling when she saw what it was. I was immediately intrigued. She started holding her arms out like a plane, "Aeroplane?" I said. She put her hands on her hips and stood in a cocky stance. "Peter Pan?" Kara laughed hard, obviously realising what it was. It took me a moment but when Maggie kept one hand on her hip and put another to the roof, with a fist, I knew what it was. "Supergirl!" I yelled, laughing hard at the symbolism.

"If you didn't get it, my next idea was to point at Kara!" Maggie sat next to me and Lena stood.

"Oh, you will get this one really easily." She started pretending to punch the floor.

"Oh, Hulk?" Kara said as if it was the easiest thing on earth. Lena nodded and sat on the floor near Kara.

"Wow, you two are really good at this!" I said as I stood to do mine.

"Okay, Alex, let's..." She went silent when she noticed, before me for the record, that I was crying. "What's wrong?"

"Just this card..." I looked back at the card that said 'Killer Frost' on it. Maggie sighed when she saw what was on my card.
