Alura POV
"Where is Mum?" I asked, referring to Kara.
"She is just resting. She went out with Alex today and it really wore her out." Mum said. I still didn't call Kara 'Mum' unless I was around either them or Alex. If I was with my friends, it was so much easier to say 'Kara' and 'Mum' than 'Mum and 'Mum'. Too many 'Mum'...s in one sentence, wow!
"I want to show her what Felicity and I did today!" I took out my phone and showed Mum the video we made of Supergirl and Flash. We called it 'The Superfriends Are Back'.
"That looks amazing. Are you doing that to encourage Kara to get out as Supergirl again?" I tried not to show that she was right, so I changed the subject.
"Felicity wanted to know if I can come with her to a party tonight!" I looked at Mum, who was contemplating letting me go. That is a first, she is usually the most over-protective mother on the face of the earth.
"Answer my question and I'll let you go."
"Fine, after Savitar and everything, I thought Mum would keep being Supergirl. I thought that showing her a video like this can get her to go out with Barry and so some crime fighting." I confessed, knowing it was a stupid idea. Felicity and I were working hard to make Kara Supergirl again after we all defeated Savitar and Kara took him to the Fortress of Solitude's prison.
A loud crash came from behind Mum, I looked in the direction of the sound and saw Kara using her crutches and coming out of her's and Mum's bedroom. Mum turned around, ran to her and helped her to the couch.
"You were out, weren't you?" Mum had a furious look on her face.
"After s...stopping Barry from killing h...himself with that alcohol that is deadly to humans, C...Cait had a bit of a Killer Frost e...episode." Kara looked at me when she finished her sentence.
"I took my old anklet to them for Cait to use until she can control her powers again," I told Mum, who looked back at Kara.
"Is that where you have been?" Mum asked her, then looking at me.
"We both stayed for a while, Alura came home to make sure you weren't worrying and I stayed a little longer to make sure Cait was okay."
"Please don't do this again. Just stop using your powers until they are fully back and you are fully healed."
"Okay, but don't give me a reason to by running head first into danger."
"Fine, I love you." I looked away as they kissed, getting out my phone and sending a quick text. I walked up the stairs and into my bedroom and saw Felicity sitting on my bed. I smiled at how fast she had gotten here, I messaged her not a minute ago.
"What's up?"
"I need your help to get Kara's powers back. Then she might heal properly and..."
"She has her powers, Alura." Felicity gave me a look that I couldn't identify but I took it as pity.
"No, she would be fine and be talking properly and be able to walk if she had her powers."
"Mum said there is literally nothing they can do other than wait. They have given her the shots of liquid sunlight but nothing happened. Alura, there is nothing we can do, I'm sorry." I sat next to her and layed back on the bed. She followed suit and we layed there talking about any ideas we had.
Kara POV
I stood and followed Lena to the bedroom, she had a mischevious look in her eyes. I didn't know how this was going to work with me being a cripple. She pushed me onto the bed, making me wince at the sharp tinge of pain in my spine.
"I'm sorry!" She had noticed. I was disappointed that she noticed it. I knew that she would be careful but this is just pitiful.
"No, keep going!" I whispered.
(Next day)
"Okay, Lena!" I giggled, she let me go and I sat back down with a huff.
"Just don't do anything I wouldn't do."
"So I am a...allowed to fly and stuff?" I said hopefully.
"No! Don't do anything..." She obviously couldn't think of how to finish the sentence.
"I get it, don't do anything Clarke wouldn't do." I laughed, thinking of calling my cousin and getting him to take me back to Metropolis for a vacation.
"There we go!" She finally found her phone. "I found it. Now, you know what to do in an emergency?"
"Call you or Alex."
"Yes. Alura should be getting home at dinner time but I should be home before that..."
"Lena, I am n...not a child. I can h...handle a day alone." She bent down and gave me a kiss on the forehead. I sat up and kissed her on the lips.
"Hey, no!" She yelled as I pulled her so she was on top of me.
"Can't you j...just stay for a b...bit?"
"Last time I stayed that happened..." She lifted my shirt to show the mark just above where my pants were sitting. I looked down at the scar from Savitar, smiling a little at how it would have healed and not scarred if we hadn't have reopened it by...
"Fine, Go. Go be a CEO."
"Thank you." She grabbed her handbag and laptop carrier, walking out the door and driving away. I stayed on the couch watching Netflix for another hour and a bit. After two episodes of Glee, I stood and stumbled to the kitchen, pouring a drink and making a grilled cheese sandwich. Finally, our lives were back on track.
"Kara Zor-El, you have failed this city." I turned to see The Green Arrow with a Kryptonite arrow aimed at me.
"Oliver?"
"How do you know my name?" He lowered his bow.
"Ollie, it's me, K...Kara."
"I know your name, you are the person causing heaps of destruction in Metropolis!"
"What Earth are you f...from?" I suddenly knew what was going on.
"100..."
"That m...makes sense..." I grabbed my phone and messaged Barry.
You really need to come here now!
A/N
This probably one of the last chapters... it is kind of difficult having three books going at once, also, this is my longest one and I thought it needed to end soon. Be prepared for the next chapter, it might be a bit emotional. I don't know how long I am going to keep this going, maybe a bit longer if I can find motivation.
There also might be a sequel or something... let me know what you guys want...
Love you all!
