(Pun not intended) Flashback is from when Kara was attacked on Earth 1

Caitlin POV (there is a new one)

Barry brought Kara's limp body to Star Labs. Cisco had everything ready for us to do surgery.

I looked over to Cisco and gave him a reassuring smile, I knew what he was feeling. Problem was, I also knew that if I got as worked up as he was getting, the Kryptonite would kill Kara.

"Okay, let's start," I whispered when Barry layed her on the bed. I started by taking the fragment of the bomb from her chest, being careful and doing it slowly. I repeated this with each one, making sure that Cisco stopped the bleeding whenever it happened. The good thing about this situation is that Kara was unconscious already when the bomb went off in her apartment. She was already starting to heal when I took the last of the Kryptonite out of the room.

"Hang in there, just keep fighting until I can get some Sun-Lights!" I mumbled when she started to squirm.

When I found some Solar Lamps, I went back into the room to find Kara sitting up and Cisco trying to get her to lay down.

"I feel fine, just tell me what the hell happened?" I sat next to her on the bed, holding her and explaining what had happened. "So, I am fine... Great!" She stood up but almost collapsed.

"Hey, easy. You need to rest." I grabbed her shoulders and sat her back down

"I need to go home, or at least have a shower."

"I think we can get the shower organized, as for going home..." She needed to go back to her Earth but I knew she meant back to the apartment that just blew up. Lucky Barry was already on his way when we got the alert, he told me to get medical stuff ready when he saw her in a pool of blood, surrounded by rubble on the pavement across from her building.

"It is gone isn't it?" I just looked at her and nodded my head.

"Barry thinks you should stay with us anyway. If someone is after you, having two Meta's protecting you is a good call."

"Fine, can I go take a shower?" I nodded again, helping her to the washroom where I told her to call out if she needs me. I also told her that I will be checking on her after 5 minutes. I closed the bathroom door and continued cleaning up everything from Kara's surgery.

"Cait, I don't have a towel!" I heard her raspy voice when the shower turned off.

"Oh, sorry!" I called out in response. I quickly went to the cupboard in the control room and grabbed my favourite towel. It is big and fluffy with Barry's lightning symbol on it. I took it to Kara who opened the door, not phased by my bewildered look at her amazing body. I wish I had muscles like that and such perfect looking skin, although, I could probably use my powers to help with that. Kara grabbed the towel and I went to close the door but she stopped it.

"Uh, thanks...but...Cait, is this supposed to happen?" Kara wrapped the towel around herself but left a part of her chest where the Kryptonite was uncovered. It was slightly discoloured, paler than it should be around the wound. I could also see a green glow under the stitching. Must be why it hadn't healed completely, there was still some Kryptonite inside her. "It isn't hurting. I just was wondering why it hadn't healed."

"It will heal eventually, there is still a little bit of Kryptonite in there but you will be okay." I got a message from Barry asking if Kara could help with our Project. "You will have to stay at our house, anyway. Barry needs help with a project and it would be better if you just stayed in our spare room for a while."

"Cool, what is the project?"

"You will see..." I said. Kara giggled and closed the door. A few minutes later she was fully dressed in her Kara Danvers outfit. We headed for the car and when we got about a few metres from my old rusty Mitsubishi, we both stopped and talked for a while. We got onto the topic of clothes so I brought up a question I had been wondering for a while... "Don't you ever get tired of your clothes that yell 'I am not socially aware!'?"

"Hey!" She hit me on the arm but because she was weak, it barely felt like a human strength punch. I started to feel dizzy and I lost focus for a moment. When my vision finally cleared, Kara was laying on the ground, groaning with an icicle in her arm.

"Oh, god!" I ran to her side and pulled it out. Thankfully, because I, or Killer Frost, had caused it, I was able to heal her before she lost too much blood.

"I'm okay, really, " She stood up and rebalanced herself against my car. I opened the passenger door for her and walked over to get in the driver's seat. Just before I opened the door I took a deep breath and relaxed a bit. I will have to tell Barry about Killer Frost's reappearance in our lives. I got in the car and we drove to Barry and my apartment.

(Morning that Kara went back to Earth 38)

"Ugh, do I have to get up?" Barry whispered after I had told him about my sensation of someone walking through the house.

"Kara is about to leave, you need to do something."

"Fine..." He stood up and super-speeded to the front door. I slowly lifted myself out of bed and walked out there myself. I arrived at the loungeroom Kara staring at a blue portal. She muttered the name 'Lena' and disappeared when the portal did.

"Barry, what the hell was that?"

"Lena took Kara back to her earth..." He was dazed.

"Isn't that a good thing? Now she is safe from the guys that tried to blow her up."

"No, it isn't good. She reason she had Arakmuraya was because a chemical in the air at the DEO causes that sort of thing."

"So, we just need to get there and either stop her from going there or get rid of the chemical."

"It also triggers Meta powers and makes them go nuts. You..."

"And Killer Frost... would have a hard time dealing, I get it." I sighed, regretting telling my Fiance that my Alter Ego who was connected to my powers was back.

"Cait..." He looked at his feet.

"It is okay, while you are gone, I can organise more for the wedding."
