:::Drew's POV:::

She excepted my request on Twitter last week and I still haven't built up enough balls to talk to her. We got home yesterday and I mostly slept all day to catch up on what I've missed. Wes was texting Patience more every day. It wouldn't shock me if they actually went out. I wasn't really watching where I was walking as I made my way down the street towards the gym. I bumped someone and she dropped everything in her hands to the ground.

"Way to go jerk!" She said as I kept walking.

Her voice stopped me dead in my tracks and I turned back to face her. "Emma? Oh my gosh I'm so sorry." I said dropping down to pick up the papers and various things she'd dropped.

"Drew, it's fine. Sorry I snapped at you. I didn't know it was you." She started fidgeting nervously with her bracelets.

She looked basically the same. Well except her now very pregnant midsection. Her hair had grown a little longer and she didn't look happy like the last time I'd seen her. She looked conflicted as she stared back at me. Oh yeah she's waiting for me to say something.

I handed her the things I picked up. "Here's you're stuff." Way to go genius!

"Thank you." She smiled brightly. "It was nice to run into you."

"Yeah you too." I nodded but I couldn't help letting my eyes wander back down to her stomach. As if she could feel my gaze she placed a hand over her belly. Her face twisted in pain as she flinched slightly. "Are you okay?" I asked worried.

"Yeah fine. He just kicks really hard sometimes and it hurts." She mumbled.

"Oh." Another brilliant reply Drew! Get it together man, I scolded myself. "So a boy then?" I asked.

"Yeah. He's going to be a handful." She chuckled then like a light switch she stood up straight and took a deep breath. "I have to, to..."

"To?" I laughed prompting her.

"I have to go. It was nice to see you Drew it really was, but I've got to go." She said walking quickly the opposite direction of me and throwing me a wave as she turned the corner and practically dashed away from me.

That was defiantly odd. Yet, I still felt the same organic connection when I looked at her. Even though she's carrying someone else's baby I still felt it. I think that's why she ran off, I think she can feel it too. Maybe it's not to late... What am I even thinking? She's pregnant!

"Earth to Drew!" Wes waved his hand in my face. "Dude you look like you saw a ghost."

"Oh sorry. I just spaced." I mumbled following him in the front doors of the gym

"You sure?" He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Did you seriously get that piercing back? Man what are you twelve?" I laughed.

"Dude, don't start! Girls think it's hot as fuck!" He defended himself as he messed with the eyebrow piercing. "And don't change the subject, I saw her."

"Saw who?" I asked knowing exactly who.

"Emma, I saw you talking to her when I came to rush you along. You looked busy though so I waited." He said.

"Yeah we talked. That's it." I shrugged.

"Dude she's having a baby. Please tell me you aren't still hung up on her." He said softly.

"Wes please." I rolled my eyes.

"No, Drew please tell me you don't have feelings for a girl who's having another dudes kid." He insisted. "Please tell me that and I'll drop this and never bring it up again."

He tapped his foot prompting me to say something. I opened my mouth but I couldn't stand here and just lie to my best friend. Wes is like my brother and he deserves nothing but the truth. "I, um she's just. I..." I sighed.

"You can't say it, because you still have feelings for her! Damn it Drew!" He pulled at his hair that if you ask me is a day or two past needing washed.

"Wes just let it go. It's my problem." I sighed again. This is my best friend. We've been through literally everything together, and he knows me better than anyone. "What do I do?"

"I don't even know what to tell you man. Just avoid her at all cost." He shrugged. "Now lets go hard." He smacked his hand on my shoulder and walked away.

Well thanks for nothing buddy!
