:::Emma's POV:::

I ran out of tears after a few minutes and realized I had to tell Wes. There was no way around it. I had to just come clean and tell him. Then he's going to flip and tell Drew before I get the chance. I'm doomed! It's best to just say it I guess.

"I'm waiting Emma." He sighed. "Whenever you're ready to explain."

"He doesn't know." My voice cracked as I spoke.

"Drew doesn't know you're having his baby?" He asked to clarify.

I nodded my head. "I was going to tell him today, but then the baby flipped and I didn't get the chance."

He cut me off. "Emma you're seven and a half months pregnant! You've had that long to tell him! Why haven't you?"

"I was scared!" I shouted angry that he'd raised his voice at me.

"Scared of what?" He asked still yelling.

"Scared he'd want nothing to do with the baby and I'd have to tell my son his dad didn't want to be in his life. Scared that Drew would fight me for custody and get the baby all to himself after I did all the work. Scared that Drew'd walk in and out of the kids life and screw it up. I'm scared about a lot of things Wes so please don't fucking yell at me!" I snapped making him look shocked.

"I'm, I'm sorry I yelled." He shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair. "Does Patience know?"

"She does." I nodded.

"Are you going to tell him?" He asked after a second of silence between us. "Because I can't keep this from him. That's my very best friend Emma, and we don't keep anything from each other. For Christ sakes I told him I was the one who broke his Buddha statue and he was pissed for weeks, so I feel obligated to tell him something this big."

"I plan on telling him Wes. I just keep backing out at the last minute." I admitted.

"I won't tell him today, but if you haven't come clean by tomorrow I will tell him." He warned me in the nicest way possible. "I hope he hears it from you though. You have nothing to worry about. I know Drew and he'll want to be part of this."

"Thanks Wes. For everything." I smiled as much as I could under the circumstance.

:::Drew's POV:::

Wes came home looking flustered and confused. I hope he apologized to Patience because I hate when he has girl issues. He just mopes around and complains. He's worse than a woman. I shook my thoughts away and sat down next to him on his couch making him jump.

"You alright?" I laughed.

"Yeah, why're you here?" He asked.

"Are you taking something?" I looked at him weird. If he's doing hard drugs I'll ship his happy ass off to rehab right now. "You asked me to meet you here to go to the gym?" I tried refreshing his memory. "You weren't back yet so I waited in the kitchen. Keaton let me in."

"Oh, yeah. I forgot. Listen I'm not feeling it." He sighed looking away from me.

"Dude is something wrong?" I asked.

He stared off into space for a minute then looked back at me. "Did you say something?"

"What's going on! You're acting like you've had a life altering experience man and it's freaking me out." I demanded.

"It's nothing I can talk about Drew." He shrugged. "Not today."

"Are you dying?" I asked only half serious.

"No, I'm not dying." He shook his head not even laughing. This is so not like him.

"Okay well I guess I'm gonna head home." I said standing up wanting to get away from his weird vibes.

"Why don't you stop by and see how Emma's doing?" He suggested.

"I think I might do that." I nodded. "See ya man."

He waved as I walked out closing the door behind me. I headed over to Emma's still wondering what was wrong with my best friend. I shook the thoughts from my head, convincing myself that he'd talk to me when he was ready, and knocked on Emma's door. She pulled it open and jumped in fright when she saw me. What's going on with everyone today!

"Hey I thought I'd stop by and see how you're doing." I smiled.

She shifted her weight oddly and then looked up at me. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "The baby's yours!" She blurted out.
