Chapter 20: Shocked...

"You have another fight today inmate" Cruz says passing by my locked cell as I lay on the floor in my black sweats and white tank staring up at the ceiling feeling numb,

"We're gonna come back for you in lunch but for now eat and rest up for your fight" A different guy officer that I never saw before says passing me a wrapped sandwich and water bottle as I got up looking at his name tag that said Humroy,

"Are you new?" I asked confusedly as his non emotional face turned into a nervous look,

"Yeah" he says with a shrug as I raised my brow,

"Why are you so tensed?" I ask confusedly grabbing the stuff he was passing to me as he looked around to see if anyone was looking,

"Im not supposed to talk to you, but this is my first day on the job and they already gave me the job of handing one of their most dangerous female inmate her food" he says with a nervous chuckle as I shrugged the last part off,

"Whats this about a fight involving me?" I ask confusedly as he shrugs,

"All I know is thats what they told me to tell you and that one of the other inmates put 900 on a fight against you today at lunch in the yard" he says confusedly as I nod before he turned to leave,

"Wait! Did you hear anything about a inmate that recently went to the medical room?" I ask as he thought it over,

"The recent information about the inmates in medical is that she will be in there for a while until she gets better. But the only bad news I heard was that cervix was badly injured that the nurse doesn't think she'll be able to have kids" He says with a frown as I nod slowly taking it in,

"Humroy! No talking to the inmate!" Cruz snapped as Humroy jumped up before nodding at him and scurrying off,

"Hello pretty face" Cruz says standing in front of me as I rolled my eyes before opening my water bottle and taking a sip,

"I'll enjoy watching you bleed out today just like how your friend was" he says with a chuckle before I threw the rest of my water in my bottle at him as he shrieked like a little girl,

"Thats a shot inmate!" He snapped wiping his eyes as I chuckled before flipping him off when he looked back at me,

"Go suck a dick pretty face" I say with a smirk as he grunted before rushing off to wash his face as I laughed before sitting on my bed eating the sandwich,

"Whattup M&M's!" Black Cindy shouts as I looked up at her with a smile,

"I haven't seen you in the longest, how you been?" She asks patting her head while eating a bag of skittles as I shrugged,

"I've been stressed out lately" I say with a shrug as she looks around before getting close to the gate as I copied confusedly,

"I gotchu girl" She says pulling her shirt up as I saw bags of candies and chips tucked in her shirt as I laughed before grabbing a M&Ms and hot cheetos before she pulled her shirt down looking around as I laughed,

"I'll be back later with some soda but for now I heard about your fight with that one white bitch from cell block A with the braids and man I cant wait to see you kick her ass" she says with a laugh as I chuckled,

"Why?" I ask while eating my M&M's as she scoffed,

"I hate that bitch, all she do is talk about how she a hundred percent black but she white as fuck! Just cuz she got like one cousin thats black she think she the freakin queen of nigeria or some shit" she says rolling her eyes as I laughed,

"Well I gotta go before that perverted officer comes back hollerin, I'll see you later Johnson" she says fist pumping me before walking away as I laughed to myself before eating my M&M's,

I wonder who wanted to fight me? The only chick I didn't like was chelsea other then that I dont know.

Later on.....

*Lunch bell rings*

"Lets go Johnson!" Cruz shouts as I got up from doing sit ups with my sweaty tank top,

"Come on" he says with a tooth pick in his mouth as I roll my eyes before letting him drag me to the yard,

I saw the loud crowd yelling and cheering as I was pulled onto the opposite side of my opponents side.

"Jezzabelle Johnson!" The lady in the middle announced as I was pulled towards the middle of the yard,

"Her opponent is......Tazz!" As soon as those words left her mouth my eyes widened at Tazz who was looking at me with a stern face,

"I tried to convince her not to do it, she literally chose to switch your opponent like a few minutes before lunch started" Wendy says coming up to me with a frown as I see Bloody behind Tazz with crossed arms,

"Good luck though, she never lost a fight" She replied before walking off as I stared at Tazz nervously before hearing the Lady say to fight.
