“Uhh… Fine… Whatever… Just let me go back to sleep. *Sayoonaraaaa…” I mumbled.

God! It’s 5 in the morning! Can’t a girl get some sleep?! Wala namang pasok ngayon ehhh!
Maya maya, half-asleep, ay narinig kong sumara yung pinto ng bahay. Nii-chan went to Palawan to take care of our family business there. And he said, he’ll be back by Monday…
Never mind. I don’t really care right now… I—I’m sooo tired… I… just… want to… sle—sleep…

Wow... It smells like... like... Pancakes.
Napabangon ako agad at nagmamadaling pumunta ng kitchen.
The smell is heavenly... Nakakagutoooom!
“Yaya?! Pancakes ba yang niluluto mo?!” sigaw ko.
“Yep. There are waffles, bacon and eggs too...” said a familiar voice...
Pagkapasok ko sa kitchen, hindi si yaya ang bumungad sa akin... It was a tall guy, in pink long-sleeved shirt (his sleeves were folded to his elbows) and black pants, with his back turned to me...

This CANNOT be happening...
“*Koko de ittai nani o yatte iru?! Dono yō ni teniireta?!” sigaw ko.

“Wait lang. Chill ka lang. I don’t even understand a word you’re saying...” natatarantang sabi niya.
“Bakit ka nandito?!” inis na sabi ko.
“Okay. Okay. Geez, easy on the volume... Bago ko sagutin yan, tikman mo muna ‘to.” sabi niya, then he cut a part ng niluto niya at sinubuan ako.
“How is it? Good?”
Tumango ako. And he smiled.
Then I realized, he’s wearing an apron with flowers printed on it.

“Wha—what?” nahihiyang sabi niya habang namumula yung tenga niya.
Awww... *Kawaiiiiii~ [*cute]

“Okay. Upo ka na. Kain na tayo...” pagyaya niya.
“So, paano ka nakapasok, aber?”
“Ah, yun ba? Pinapasok ako ng Kuya mo kanina...”
